At the same time..

Jessica POV

"Hyogin-ah, why don't you play for awhile in the living room before I join you.. I need to 

arrange all the things I had bought for our lunch.." I said while lowering myself to be at the same

level as her.. 

"Arrasso-yo, ahjumma..." With a cute smile Hyongin hurriedly went to the living room.. 

'Aigoo.. kyeopta..' 

I made my way to the kitchen while humming to a random song.. All the things needed for lunch, 

was bring out from the plastic bags one by one then, washed a few ingredients..

Well, I'm actually not a good cook and had thought on taking Hyongin out but a little 

devil of sweetheart of mine, Doojoon, challenge me to cook.. Huh.. I feel like want to punch him.. 

But, it's better to prove him I can cook.. 

End of Jessica POV 

After finished all the things in the kitchen, Jessica decided to check on Hyongin before she starts 

cooking and also she thought it better Hyongin be in her room because she don't want 

Hyongin saw if I'd burned and messed with her mother's kitchen.. 

Slowly, Jessica tip toed to the living room because she planned to surprised Hyongin..

But, once Jessica went to the living room there is no sight of Hyongin.. 

Jessica starting to worried and she starts to search for Hyongin here and there.. then, she 

make her way to the bedrooms upstairs.. As she approach Hyongin's room, she could here

Hyongin's voice which sounds like she is talking to someone.. 

Jessica was relieved but anxious at the same time, she wondered to whom Hyongin is talking to..

Slowly, she tried to peek on Hyongin.. 

"Appa, when are you going to meet me?? I missed you so much.. Hmm, today omma is 

not home.. She went out for awhile.. Appa don't worry, omma will not cheat on you.. 

Appa I miss you.." 

Jessica was frozed when she heard what Hyongin said.. 

'Appa?? Who could it be??'Jessica thought to herself but suddenly her heart sank as she saw

Hyongin is hugging a picture while crying.. 

Without waiting long, Jessica enters the room and hurriedly to hug Hyongin.. 

"Hyongin-ah what's wrong?? why are you cring??.. Shhh.. calm down dear.."

Jessica pats Hyongin's head and tries to calm down Hyongin's tears.. 

"A..Ah..ahjumma..isk..when will..isk.. my appa.. isk..when will I meet my appa??" said Hyongin

while trying to fight back her crying.. 

"Hyongin-ah, don't worry ahjumma will help you find your appa.." said Jessica.. 

"Jeongmallo??" Hyongin's tears immediately stop and her face brighten when she hears what 

Jessica had just said.. 

"Yup.. Hyongin-ah, may I see the picture?? Is your father is in the picture??" Jessica carefully

asks for the picture.. 

"Deh.. omma had just gave me his picture recently.. I'll let you see it but you must promise

me to find him.. will you ahjumma??" said Hyongin.. 

Hyongin slowly handed the picture after Jessica gives her a nod.. 

Jessica reach out and take the picture from Hyongin's hand.. As she take a look at the 

picture. she felt like being washed by a cold water.. She is in ultimate shock..

'Kai?? Kim Jongin?? How can it be??' Jessica thought.. 

"Ahjumma, what's wrong?? Do you know him??" Hyongin's voice brings back Jessica to reality.. 

Jessica just smiles and pull Hyongin to a hug.. 

Then, she thought of something.. She really needs an explanation.. 

Jessica takes out her phone and dialled a number.. 

"Doojoon-ah, I can't cook for you today.. So, will you bring anything for our lunch.. something big

had turned up.. I'll tell you everything later ok.. bye.."
