The next morning, Daehyun arrived at school. He saw you sitting in your usual seat, resting your head on the table. You were staring out of the window with a bored expression on your face.

Daehyun exhaled and clutched onto the straps of his backpack. He walked over to the seat and sat on his chair. You felt a presence beside you and turned to the side.

"Daehyun." You greeted. He blinked back at you, unsure of how to react. You took your maths homework out of your bag and showed him the question that you attempted yesterday. "Do you how to solve this question?"

"You.." Daehyun pointed to himself. "You want me to help you?"

You nodded. "Yeah. Why? Friends are supposed to help each other, right?"

"So you should only treat her as a substitude now. Nothing more than a friend."

*How could I treat her as a substitude when she already treats me like a friend?* Daehyun thought guiltily. For the next 5 seconds, he was stoning there like a statue until you waved a hand in front of him. "Are you okay?"

He snapped out of his trance. "Oh? Yeah. I'm alright." He flashed you a smile. 

"Which question do you not know how to do?" He took a glance at you. You pointed to the last question of the page. "This one." He then taught you how to do it properly.

"You just have to use the correct formula." "Ah, I see." You nodded, impressed. Daehyun then scanned through the other answers and furrowed his eyebrows.

"This one's wrong." He pointed to question two. From there, he began to correct you on your careless mistakes.

You sighed as you wrote down the right answers. "You're so clever, sometimes feel like I'm stupid around you. But then again, I'm glad that a genius is sitting beside me. That way, I can learn more from you." You beamed at him.

Daehyun blinked. It was the first time seeing you smile. It was also the longest sentence you had ever said to him and he was momentarily dumbfounded. He softly smiled back at you. "I'm glad to be sitting beside you, too."

He had decided. He was going to be your secret friend. The rest of B.A.P members may treat you like a substitude, but he will always treat you as a friend of his in his heart.

During breaktime, Daehyun and you sat at the same spot in the cafeteria again. 

You dug into your food. Daehyun randomly glanced at your tray and his eyes bulged out.

"I-Is that fried tofu?!" He pointed to the few pieces of fried tofu on your tray. You nodded. "I bought this on my way to school this morning. I can give it to you if you want it."

Daehyun couldn't say no. It was his favourite food after all. 

You transferred the tofus to his tray. "Thank you, Heeyoung!" He piped up and gleefully munched on it. You laughed at his hyperness at the sight of his favourite food.

However, his happy bubble was about to be burst.

"Yo," A distinct, deep voice caused you to look up. Five blonde guys were staring and smiling at you. "Pffft," Daehyun rolled his eyes at them and scowled. "I almost forgot about you guys."

"But we're here now, right?" Yongguk said as he sat down on the table that you and Daehyun shared. Soon, you were surrounded by six blonde-haired guys.

"These are my friends." Daehyun lamely introduced.

You turned to the first male who was sitting right next to you. He seemed to be the oldest as he had the 'leader' aura aound him. Yongguk flashed a gummy smile at you. "I'm Yongguk. I'm the oldest here."

*Just as I thought.* You shook hands with him. "I'm Heeyoung. Nice to meet you."

One by one, they began to introduce themselves.

"I'm Himchan." The handsome one said as he winked at you. You blinked and slightly blushed. "Say, you're really pretty. Just my type!" Himchan chuckled and leaned towards your face to get a better look at you.

Daehyun swiftly pulled him back before his face could get any closer to yours. 

A guy with chubby cheeks smiled at you. "I'm Youngjae." You beamed back at him, a little bit more relaxed this time. Youngjae seemed to be the friendly type.

"Uh.." The next guy awkwardly smiled at you. When a pretty girl is looking right at him, he couldn't help but stammer. "I-I'm.. I'm..Uh.." He suddenly forgot his own name. 

"His name is Jongup." Daehyun answered for him. "Let's move on. Next!"

The last guy had blonde hair like the rest but his had a few blue highlights in it. "Annyeong, Pretty Heeyoung noona!" Zelo grinned at you. "My name's Choi Junhong but you can call me Z-E-L-O! I hope I can be good
