Daehyun's eyes were empty and devoid of emotions.

Paralyzed with fear, you couldn't command your legs to run. You were literally frozen to the spot, with your heart slamming wildly against your chest and the sound of your heartbeat reverberating in your mind.

He began to walk towards you. With every step he took, you tried to inch back but you soon realised your back was against the wall.

He was cornering you. Now, he was only two steps away from you.

"Daehyun..." You fought back tears in your eyes. "Daehyun, please..."

You squeezed your eyes shut and turned away. *He's going to kill me.* You held your beath and maintained in that position as you await for what was coming for you.

Nothing. 

Gathering your courage slowly but surely, you half-opened your eyes and saw Daehyun's shoes. He was still standing there. *What?* You let go of your breath.

You slowly opened your eyes fully and took a glimpse at him. 

There was a look in his eyes. Was it... empathy?

Your scream became muffled as Daehyun's hand covered your mouth. His face was only 5 cm away from yours. "Heeyoung, calm down!" He whispered in an urgent tone. He turned around to confirm there was no one else in the classroom, then faced you again.

"I just want to talk to you."

You stopped resisting and glared at him. Daehyun was surprised for a moment, but he remained composed again. "I want to explain my situation, okay?"

"I have my difficulties too." He lowered his head and let out a shaky breath. "Please Heeyoung, just.."

You glanced at him warily. He had a determined gaze. 

"Just listen to what I have to say."
