No one dared to say anything. Yongguk stood there, as if he couldn't believe what his team member had accused him of.
Then, he sighed. "You're a traitor, Daehyun. The others would be disappointed."
"You're the one who betrayed the whole group!" Daehyun yelled back angrily. "You're the one they're disappointed in!"
"As you said, I'm the leader of the group." Yongguk showed no remorse for his actions. "I make decisions, and my team members have to work with me to complete my mission. Sacrifices are inevitable."
Daehyun was fuming. How could Yongguk be so heartless?
"If what he said was true,"
Yongguk turned around. The three guys were glaring at him.
"You used your own team mates. They were sacrificed in the process, and you don't even feel sorry for them?" Niel shook his head." For your information, all the spies are dead except for the both of you. All four of them died for this mission."
"As I said," Yongguk shrugged carelessly. "Sacrifices are inevitable."
"Despicable scum." Sungjong muttered. L.joe wordlessly raised his gun at Yongguk. "I detest people like you."
"Two against one? This isn't very fair." Yongguk lightly chuckled. His expression then changed into a deadly one in a split second.
"Yes, all of this is true. Without their help, I wouldn't have gotten this far. I won't let their sacrifices be in vain. I will carry out my revenge no matter what!"
His actions were so fast, no one could react in time.
He fired at the glass window first. The glass smashed and fractured in little pieces. "Not again?!" Sungjong yelled as he tried to protect himself from the sharp pieces. Seeing L.joe and Niel momentarily distracted, he fired his next shot.
Niel was down. He let out a cry and curled into a ball on the ground, gripping his bleeding ankle. L.joe fired his and Yongguk dodged. The bullet narrowly missed Daehyun by a few centimeters as it hit the wall behind him.
"." L.joe cursed. The space was limited and he couldn't aim properly. With two other people on the other side, they also had a chance of getting hit.
"Wait!" You tried to reason with him. "The gang that killed your parents may not be Teen Top nor Infinite-"
"I will never feel at ease until the last two remaining gangs are killed." Yongguk glared at you.
"And if you try to stop me, I won't hesitate to finish you off."
"Stop this already!" Daehyun yelled at him in frustration. "Don't hurt more innocent people!"
Yongguk smirked in a conceited way, as if taunting Daehyun. The latter was irked and narrowed his eyes. "Fire if you dare." Yongguk said calmly. Daehyun wrapped his finger around the trigger.
"Try me."
The deafening sound was much louder this time as compared to the others. You slowly removed your hands from covering your ears as you watched Yongguk staggered back.
Yongguk shook his head in disbelief as L.joe stared at the scene with wide eyes.
"Impossible..."
Daehyun's hand returned to his side.
"Your gun... was supposed to be empty..."
You tried to comprehend what he had just said. *Daehyun's gun was supposed to be empty? How?*
*What?* Daehyun was too disoriented to think straight. His mind was a whirlpool of chaos. There was only one reason he thought of, and that was also the answer to his doubts.
*Youngjae...?*
Flashback:
Youngjae grabbed Daehyun's hand where his gun was. "What are you doing?!" Daehyun instinctively removed himself from the latter's grasp. "YAH!" Youngjae yelled at him, and he paused, appalled at Youngjae's actions.
Youngjae switched his gun with Daehyun's. Daehyun stared at Youngjae's gun, which was now in his possession.
