First Impressions: [6/10]
at first glance what i thought (sometimes unedited thoughts
and how my mind works when i first look)
ok. i like the flowery one, but if i were going to pick.
its an easy choice. i would pick the more brown toned one.
since its an angst / murder mystery that is the one i think matches the most.
pink goes right out when i decide. pink in murder doesnt seem that angst-y.
when i first see it, my impression is just ehh.
its ok, not fantastic. would i know what the story is about? nope.

how masterful are you at blending/cutting
the cutting is not bad. i know its probably annoying doing the outline
but i think adding more details to their silhouette would have enhanced the piece quite a lot.
right now they just look like blobs. adding some more distinct features would be great.
like some space for arm holes or legs or something.
cause when i look at it my eye just sees a blob.

does your images/stocks/brushes/textures enhance the poster
yup it must have been annoying to deal with just silhouettes
but i think you could have used more stocks / textures to your advantage
to help tell the story better. for instance, theres nothing on the poster that would
let viewers know its about murder.
maybe have a character or two hold a knife.
i like that you tried to use the clock but maybe a different one would be better
since i mentioned before the flowery bits dont match the mood.
