First Impressions: [8/10]
at first glance what i thought (sometimes unedited thoughts
and how my mind works when i first look)
my first impressions of this poster is pretty positive.
its a nice cute simple poster.
which is kind of weird after i read that the theme should be a dark mystery.
another thing is that it feels like its not a finished poster. it feels more like a tumblr edit.
the main difference between the two for me is that a poster should be sending a bigger message,
it should be a graphical representation of the story.
Anyways, Im going to guess that the guy on the left is the beast?
i hope so since he's got some major demon eyes going on:

how masterful are you at blending/cutting
i think the blending is very good here. or did you cut.
when i look at the hair line it looks like it was cut.
or maybe it was a combination with both. 
regardless, i like how there are no harsh edges.
i like how you kept enough of the characters bodies
to distinguish them from each other.
the haunted house is disappearing a little
too much into the background though,
i can barely see it, i would have liked if it stood out more.
the moon and the wings look great.

does your images/stocks/brushes/textures enhance the poster
the images themselves are good and suitable.
quality is good. i like how the beast has white clothes, and the prince has black.
its like reverse symbolism? lol iono maybe im reading too much into it.
i think some additional stocks or textures would be helpful here.
especially to set the mood. right now i think its a cutesy comedy for some reason.
the piece looks very smooth right now and i think some grunge textures
would be helpful. or some scratchy textures or paper textures.
also maybe making it more obvious who is the prince and who is the cursed would be good.
the demon eyes is a nice touch but the poster is kind of small that i really have to get up close to see it.
maybe, if it matches the mood/setting of the story i would give the prince a crown?
i like the other stocks though. and like i mentioned earlier, the haunted house should be more visible.
