Eyes have taken a turn in this century and they have never played a role so big. This world is a world centering on the peoples' eyes. Eyes that differentiate you from everyone else. Eyes that once they become yours, they are yours alone. Everyone's eyes carries a different meaning, a different feeling, an essence, and most importantly a power. Powers that can be used for either good or bad. With such powers everyone is carefully watched and kept in a society in which these powers are not used recklessly. 

Everyone's eyes start off as a blank canvas, meaning they are simply black. Only when you've matured and reached a certain point do these eyes appear. Some say the color your eyes are depends on how you lived your life, what road in life you took, how you view the world, others think the color of your eyes were already predetermined. Some wish for eyes that can cause chaos, others wish for eyes that can be used for the good of the world. The darker the eye color the more dangerous the eyes are, the lighter the eyes are, the more good energy they have.

I've seen people on each side. There was one guy I recall, he had dark blue eyes and he easily controlled the mind of others. It was an unbelievable sight to see but it happened. I saw this happen during my younger years, way before my eyes came in, way back when I still lived in my innocent, unknowing world. I couldn't believe what I saw, I didn't understand that much back then but I understand it now. I also met a girl with light purple eyes, the power she carried was that she could simply make the pain of people go away. She was able to send a person an energy that made them feel happy, satistfied, okay, that life was going to be okay. 

With such eyes wandering around the streets, you can imagine the chaos, the restlessness. People would try to create chaos, seeing such eyes on the streets would make them wonder what power they contain, it would make them want to challenge each other's power and such. With the power of our eyes and knowing what they could do, the 'Rulers' made a law that if roaming the streets you must, hide your eye color. We're actually able to switch between eye colors, between our birth, black eyes and our powered eyes. We were made to hide our eye colors because the only time our powers could be used were when they showed their color. So they felt it was safer to have everyone have their black eyes on when in public so that no powers were used and no trouble was created. Some like this law and others don't. People like it because they feel safe knowing that people can use their powers, some also like the law because they don't neccessarily want other to know of their powers. Othes dislike the law becaus
