Day 9: Sungmin

15 days with Super Junior ♥

Pretty much the next day, Jae-min experienced bad hangover when she woke up. She cursed to herself for letting herself drink too much and relying on her liver that it won’t fail her last night. Although she is deeply embarrassed when Eunhyuk took her home, she had enjoyed her date with Super Junior’s dancing machine.

Despite feeling under the weather, Jae-Min pulled herself up to get ready for her date with the cutest member of Super Junior, Lee Sungmin. She was as excited as before and quickly got ready and dressed, just as someone knocked on her door rapidly. She opened her door and didn’t surprise her that it was the staff and the camera crew already filming her as soon she opened the door for them.

“Are you ready, Jae-Min shi?” one of the friendly staff asked her nicely. She nodded back, grabbing her small bag with a some paracetamol with her just in case. When she got in the car, her head kept on throbbing but she pulled on a smile for the recording camera. Again, they asked her what she thought of her date with Eunhyuk.

“It was so much fun in the club with Eunhyuk. Wow- he can dance sooo well!” she blushed, “I just feel really bad being drunk on the date. I shouldn’t have drank as much.” she laughed awkwardly to the camera as the car took her quickly in front of a bus stop.

“Why are we here?” Jae-min asked curiously as she stepped out of the car with a single camera following her every move.

“Sungmin will be here to take you in a minute.” another staff told her, “Just wait for him, he’s running a bit late this morning.” Jae-min nodded back and sat down on the bus seats but it was no use when someone started calling her from the other side of the road. She instantly got up from her seat and went on tip toes to see Sungmin waving frantically to her, carrying a huge picnic basket and a black guitar case strapped onto his back.

“Jae-min-shiie! Over here!!” Sungmin called, waving so excitedly over to her that he was bouncing on the spot, his hand in the air, waving wildly to her. He was so cute! He grinned at her as she carefully crossed the busy road when the red man turned red, telling her that she can cross the road while all the cars had stopped to let her pass. As soon as she was with him with a camera man with them, Sungmin didn’t hesitate to hug her quickly with one hand.

“Annyeong Sungmin oppa.” Jae-min blushed like a fool, “Where are we going may I ask?”

“Does a picnic basket give you any clues at all?” Sungmin grinned wider and took her hand in his, leading her towards a path way with trees high above, covering them with their huge shadows. He happily took her around a corner until they were faced to faced with a huge steep hill. Jae-min looked up and saw a huge oak tree up in the hill with something hanging onto the branches.

“Do you have sensible shoes?” Sungmin asked her cutely, “I don’t want you falling over on our date.” Jae-min glanced at her shoes which were white flip flops. She pursed her lips at them and smiled back at Sungmin and nodded, her head killing her. All she wanted was to rest back at home and hide under the duvet but she can’t do that. She can’t abandon her date with Sungminnie.

“If you like I can run up there and drop the stuff I’m carrying, come back down and carry you up there?” Sungmin offered sweetly.

“Anio oppa, I’ll be okay.” she laughed while shaking her head to his sweet offer to her. She wondered if Sungmin can do anything to get her hangover to go away.

“Okay then, come here.” Sungmin clasped onto her hand tightly as they walked up the steep hill hand in hand, the camera following them while some staff watched a few metres away, smiling at the way Sungmin is so cute to Jae-min. After a few staggers up the steep hill, they had finally arrived up to their destination and Jae-min saw that there was a huge tyre swing hooked on the huge oak tree. She went over to it just as Sungmin laid the picnic basket and his guitar case on the grass and laying a huge picnic blanket on the ground after.

“Get on and I’ll push you.” Sungmin told her but Jae-min eyed the swing quickly, getting worried that the swing might break and her headache was stopping her a little. Sungmin looked at her and began to pout, “Don’t you trust me to push you Jae-Jae?” his voice sent shivers down her spine. The way he said it was too cute for words. She laughed and sat down on the tyre as Sungmin started to push her softly.

“Hyuk Jae told me you’re a great dancer.” Sungmin spoke. Jae-Min looked back and cocked her head to the side.

“Seriously?” she blushed, turning away fro him to blush even more. “I don’t consider myself a good a dancer but tell him thanks.”

“Tell him on Day 15.” Sungmin laughed, “He was overly confident that you will choose him on Day 15 but everybody knows you will choose me.” He winked while Jae-Min looked back at him and raised her eyebrows and giggled a little.

“Sorry, being so obnoxious. Sorry, sorry.” Sungmin apologized and carried on pushing her softly. “Want something to eat? Come on, I made sandwiches. Well…” he paused, “Ryeowook made us sandwiches.” he helped her get off the tyre swing carefully, holding her around the waist for extra protection just in case she trips up on the floor. They both sat down on the blanket on the grass while Sungmin took out packed sandwiches out of the picnic basket and some cold cans of soft drinks.

“Cheese and pickle sandwich or cheese and ham?” Sungmin asked, juggling two neatly foiled sandwiches with his hands in a playful way.

“Cheese and ham, jebal.” Jae-min said even though she didn’t really feel like eating at the moment. Sungmin handed her the foiled sandwich on the right and he opened his one, took one look at it and gave the one he handed to her while he took the one he gave to her back.

“Wrong one.” he blushed like crazy and took a huge bite on his pickle and cheese sandwich. “Eat up, Jae-Jae! Ryeowook makes good sandwiches! Plus you look like you’re starving.” Sungmin shared some of his own stories about the other members back in their dorms how when they have Henry Lau around, they always poke his cheeks but when he is not, they would go to Sungmin and pinch him 10x harder. He told her how much he agreed to all the amazing feedback the other members who went on a date with her already said about her. Jae-min blushed like crazy when he said she was really pretty.

“Yah, Jae-min shiie, why are you not eating?” Sungmin asked her while guzzling down his drink quickly.

Jae-min took one look at her opened sandwich and stopped herself from gagging. It didn’t look sickly or any sort, she just can’t look at food at the moment no matter how it looked so nice to eat. Sungmin took a look at her.

“Is everything okay, Jae-Jae?” Sungmin asked worriedly as he put his sandwich down on his lap to take a long look at her.

“Of course.” Jae-min lied.

“You don’t look so good.” Jae-min sighed.

“I’m sorry Sungmin oppa but I have a bit of hangover. Well, a HUGE hangover.” she confessed.

“Monkey gave you too much to drink huh?” Sungmin chuckled, “That dancer, is it his fault for making you drink too much?”

“Anio oppa…” Jae-min rubbed her temples lightly, “I was the one not watching how much I drank last night.”

“Hold on~” Sungmin took their sandwiches away and put it back in the picnic basket and took out his guitar out of the black case. “I’ll sing you as song to make you feel better.” He strummed on his guitar strings but paused to look at her and smile, “I hope you know Baby, Baby.” He then started to strum on the guitar while singing to her beautifully. He would glance at Jae-min from time to time while singing to her, a smile always forming on his face.

“Oppa is so good.” Jae-min breathed when he finished, realising that her headache had left. He started to drink again quickly.

“Oh gomawo Jae-Jae.” he giggled a little when he suddenly hiccupped loudly. “Whoops *hiccup* I think I drunk my drink too quick- *hiccup* -ly.” He kept on hiccupping in a cute way while Jae-min laughed.

“Oppa so cute!” she squeaked, fighting the urge to pinch his cheeks. The camera went around them quickly but they hardly noticed as they were laughing together.

“If my hiccupping is so cute, watch this.~” Sungmin put his hands under his chin and started bouncing his shoulders up and down in the most cutest way ever, throwing in cute pouting faces, puffy cheeks and puppy dog eyes at her while still hiccupping

. Jae-min couldn’t help but keep on going ‘Aw’ and squeal in delight when he said, “Ahh, anio noona.” and winked both eyes at her. When he finished with his aegyo acts, he took out mini tomatoes out of the picnic basket and told Jae-min to open while he threw some in.

After a few fails as the tomatoes either missed Jae-min’s mouth or bounced off her lips, Sungmin just gave up and popped a tomato in quickly before eating one himself, his hiccups disappearing. Sungmin looked at his white watch quickly and frowned.

“Aish, I have to go now Jae-Jae. I have a meeting back in SMent, Mianhaeyo… Time goes far too quick.” Sungmin apologized while bowing his head low at her. “Come, I’ll take you home.” Sungmin politely asked one of the staff to pack for the stuff they used as they ran down the hill like little kids, Sungmin tripping up on the way and nearly tumbling over and rolling down. Sungmin took her back home using his own car with the camera man with them.

“It was nice spending time with you, Jae-Jae.” Sungmin hugged her when they arrived at her house, “Pick me okay *Hint! Hint!*” he winked, “See you in Day 15! Wait- before I forget~” Sungmin opened his glove compartment, took out a pretty pink plastic bag with something in it, “Hope you like it, see you soon!”

“Bye oppa.” Jae-min giggled and hugged him back, got out of the car with the pink bag in her hands and watched him drive away, the camera man waiting for her to say something. She turned towards them and grinned.

“Aigoo, such a cute, sweet guy! Aish..” she chuckled, “He somehow made me lose my hangover!” She opened the plastic bag and saw a pink fluffy bunny. Aigo, it was so cute. She hugged it close while she walked to her house, smiling to herself proudly. Meanwhile, Sungmin had arrived at SMent where an extra camera was waiting to interview him about his date.

“Jae-Min shi is so pretty! I wish I didn’t have to end the date! I really hope she picks me on Day 15 so that I‘ll get to know her more,” Sungmin grinned from ear to ear, “Aigoo…”
