Crazy Fates

She was only awaken when the sun touched her porcelain skin as the bright sunlight gazed through the curtains. She growled inwardly shooting up from bed. He was still sleeping. His back turn towards her. He was still in a deep slumber. She ignored his presence like always.

Stepping aside towards the walk-in closet she got dress. Stepping downstairs she was met with the same departed loneliness. She couldn't help but notice how quiet it was. Not a single movement in the place, aside for her of course. She should had been use to it by now. Even before marrying that bastard her days were still filled with the same empty silence she hated so much.

Stepping into the library where stacks and stacks of lined books were located in she frowned. A thin line of dust filled the shelves that homed the books and the fresh scent of the old oak tables filled her lungs. She went over and grabbed one of her favorite books. Sitting down in the armchair by the window she turned the pages as she began reading. Her tutor would be here in a hour.

Woohyun was supposed to be gone by then just giving her enough time to eat some breakfast before she started her studies.

She let the thought slip off Her mind forgot about everything spinning around her. She didn't even notice how fast time pass by. She didn't notice that her tutor was late.

It wasn't until the door to the library open that she realized how much time had pass. She knew it was him. She knew his scent. She could feel his eyes wondering around her, even if she didn't look up from her book. She choose to ignore him. Wasn't he supposed to be gone by now?

"Your tutor's not coming today. Get ready. Dress in something nice. You're coming with me." He ordered. He didn't ask, he never did. He just gave orders. Guess this was their marriage.

"Why the hell would I go anywhere with you." She shot at him. Her brows narrowing at her husband as her eyes shot fire at him. He mumbled some words, she didn't pay attention to them.

"Don't throw a fit. " Woohyun clamored tugging on his hair. His wife loved annoying him in as many ways as possible. He stepped closer towards her, she remained unmoved.  She was one of the only people who didn't flinch under him.

"I don't have time for your Chorong. Just get dress." Chorong glared back refusing to move.

"Goddamn woman." He cursed grabbing her arm and pulling her along ignoring her stubbornness. Pulling her back to their bed room he went right straight to her closet. Scanning through her closet, Chorong watched him in disbelief as he looked through her clothes. Chorong wasn't exactly an Upper East Side princess. Her clothes weren't famous labels, no Gucci or Prada. Woohyun didn't seem to notice, he just wanted something nice.

"Get out."

"What?" He asked turning to face her. Her arms were crossed across her chest. She wasn't exactly in a good mood. She never was when around him.

"Just get out and I'll fine something to wear. Just get out." She order. She didn't exactly ask questions and waited for answers either. The two of them had the same personality. When they clash all was doom. It wasn't because of a bad event that happened between the two, nothing like that. They just didn't clash well. They were two sets of fire, each strong, each with fury, each unwilling to back down to the other.

The second they met they were already arguing none stop. Woohyun sigh, huffing in announce as he walked out of the closet space.

Slamming the bedroom door as he stomped off. She sign. What the hell got into him?
--

Chorong growled stepping out of the room. The place was quiet. Too quiet. She paced down stair slowly to find Woohyun gone. She didn't even hear him leave. Great, so typical of him. She cursed. There was a single note left on the counter table. Picking it up her brows narrowed in confusion.

Sunggyu's picking you up. -Woohyun

He didn't even bother telling her where he was, where she was going. All she knew was that Sunggyu, his friend, a man she barely knew was picking her up. It really didn't matter. She just had to endure this crappy of a marriage with him until she can be sure....the thought jumped out of her mind the second the door bell rang.

Stomping towards the doors, she pulled it opened. Revealing himself was Sunggyu. His face was in an expressionless tone, eyes scrutinizing every inch of her like she was a art piece for show.

She assumed it must be all the things that Woohyun had been telling his friends about her, because Sunggyu didn't look to please to see her.

"Chorong, right?" He assumed. She nodded. His face finally soften upon realizing she wasn't a monster.

Honestly Sunggyu thought Woohyun's wife was better than Woohyun let off. Sunggyu half expected some sort of hideous monster that walked out of a rock, but here stood a beautiful goddess. Her long silky brown hair fell to her waist in waterfall waves. Her face was oval and had plenty of baby fat. Her eyes round and shined of deep alluring chocolate brown. They were strong, stubborn, soft, and fragile, he could tell that they held many secrets. She wore a simple black strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline paired with black heels. It wasn't revealing, but showcase all her curves. Her face didn't hold too much make-up, unlike all the cake-faced barbie dolls that walked around in nothing, She was dazzling, totally different from what he was expecting.

"Sunggyu right." Chorong asked. He nodded. She frowned, exhaling deeply. She didn't look please. Not at all. "Care to tell me where you're be taking me. My of a husband didn't bother to give me any information. So typical of the bastard." Chorong shot. Sunggyu was stunned. Maybe he know understood why Chorong was Woohyun's wife. She wasn't scare to talk back. She wasn't scare of Woohyun.

The name of Nam Woohyun sent chills through most people. His family power was enough to set him in a status higher than most people. Sunggyu could understand this, he was also born like that. Chorong didn't seem to care. People were all the same to her. No matter the money, power, influence, they were one in the same. Human. Fragile creatures that could be killed in an instant. All the same.

Club." He replied candidly. Chorong nodded, of course it would be the clubs. She mumbled some curses under her breath as she followed him. Closing the door behind her she spluttered cusses at her husband. The man was trying to bury her alive.

Sunggyu couldn't help but chuckle at her remarks. Yes, she can see why Chorong was Woohyun's wife.

"What's so funny?" Chorong asked shooting fire at the back of his head. He didn't reply at first. Helping her open the side door to his Mercedes she slid in, her arms crossed and face cold as ice.

"You're not scare of him are you?" He asked once he was in the driver's seat. Zooming off towards the highway he waited for her response.

"Why would I be. He's just another insolent brat that thinks he owes the world. He believes people will bend their will to him just because of what...money, power, his family. I am disgusted with people like that" Chorong ranted. Her eyes watching the busy Seoul streets past her by.

"Then why marry him then, if you hate people like him." Sunggyu asked. After her rant he couldn't help by ask. Chorong wasn't like any other typical girl. She was strong, stubborn, too stubborn. She was the female version of Woohyun, her personality that was. Chorong sigh, deciding if she should answer honestly or not.

Sunggyu didn't seem like Woohyun. He was kinder, sweeter, he didn't jump to conclusions, unlike Woohyun. She tilted her head towards him. His eyes were directly on the road.

"I married him..because I'm trying to help someone really dear to me. Don't take me as another stupid fake gold-digger trying to juiced up an young millionaire. I'm doing this because I have to take care of someone I love." She answered. Through it wasn't the whole truth but it wasn't a lie. Besides, who was he to her other than another one of her husband's friends. She wasn't one to go talking to the world about her life.

"You're quiet different than from I imagine Chorong. Honestly you are." He told her. Her answer was good enough to him. Too good. It was honest, yet she kept that hint of mystery to her. He wondered if Woohyun knew of this. He doubted it, but he wasn't going to say anything. He could tell Chorong wouldn't like it if he told Woohyun.

"Is that a good thing?" She asked directing her question towards the comment he made before.

"Of course it's a good thing." He replied. Chorong smiled at that fact. Hey, at least she was getting to one of his friends that she wasn't a typical gold-digging .

Finally getting off the highway, only did Chorong realize how fast Sunggyu drove. The two were already there. His car came to a left turn, pulling into the private parking lot he cut of the monstrous engine.

"Who goes to the clubs in broad daylight? Is it even open?" Chorong asked stepping out of the car. Her eyes scanning the place carefully. Sunggyu sighed stepping out. Without answering he began walking in. Chorong growled slowly following his steps.  A part of her told her to run away, following him was only leading to her doom.

The two walked through the double doors that apparently remained unlock. Chorong froze at the entrance of the door deciding if she should follow or not. Sunggyu obviously noticed this as he stopped in his place, turning around he grabbed her wrist. Her reflexes kicked in as she flicked her arm away from him. Ghastly blinking she eyed him with an unreadable expression.

Her face was a mask, no one could read it. She hid all details and secrets behind it. Faking every moment. She was scare, so scare, but stronger than many. Sunggyu could tell this just by looking at her. She was a perfect match for Woohyun. Woohyun was a perfect match for her. The two idiots just didn't realize it yet.

"What the hell are you doing?" She ordered. He shrugged stepping away from her.

"You coming or what. I promise you, there no crazy murderer in here, other than your husband of course." He affirmed with slight smile.

"Why am I here? I'm sure he's not here to show me off to his friends. I'm not exactly a trophy wife." Chorong grumbled.

"He's quite stubborn you know, your husband, it took both Sungyeol and Sungjong's constant nagging for him to finally cracked down to introducing you to us. I'm pretty sure the others will be shock to see the actual you. Not the monster Woohyun had us believing you were" He answered. Chorong bit her lower lip before slowly stepping in.

"I'm on the highway to hell." Chorong cursed Sunggyu chuckled at her comment. The girl had character. Stepping through the door she trailed him. She was going to prove them wrong. She was something more than meets the eye.
