You Got Me
Yamada’s POV
2 days before graduation.
“Yabu-kun.” I told him.
I’m in his room right now.
“You’re the best guy I’ve ever met.” He said.
“I have almost 2 months left.” He added while looking outside his window.
“You have to take the operation.” I said.
I haven’t done the blackmail yet. I’m his best friend and as long as I can, I don’t want to blackmail him.
“I’m prepared.” He said.
“2 months is not so long.” He added.
“Are you just going to spend your life here until you die?! You have a lot of things to do!! And a lot more if you survive the operation!” I
scolded him.
“And if not?” he asked.
I was dumbfounded.
I don’t what to answer.
Yes, it really is a big risk taking the operation.
But he really needs to take it, for us, his friends, and ftor Koharu-chan.
“So you really choose not to take the operation?” I asked.
“I can just wait for 2 months.” He said.
“You pushed me through this level, Yabu-kun. I did not intent to blackmail you but the situation calls for it.” He looked at me.
“It’s either you take the operation, or we’re going to tell Koharu-chan where you are.” I said.
His eyes widened.
“You can’t do that. I know you.” He said removing his gaze from me.
“I’m serious.” I said.
He looked back at me.
He looked into my eyes for a few seconds.
“You can’t do this Yama-kun. I persevered for 9 months. I stopped myself from seeing her. And now you’re telling me this?” He asked.
“Trust me. I hired the best of the best surgeons for this operation and they are going to use the latest technology. They told me that
they can raise the survival rate to 20%.” I said.
It’s true.
I asked for Keito-kun’s help.
He’s really rich and he has a lot of connections.
“You always really get what you want.” He said.
“So you’re going to take the operation?” I asked happily.
“’ll think about it.” He said.
Better than no. At least I have even a little hope here.
“You better do.” I said then left his room.
Koharu’s POV
I’ve finished the survey I’m making.
And I’m going to graduate! Yehey!
And I’m going to leave Japan the day after.
I don’t know what waits in there in the Philippines for me.
But before I leave this country, I’ll make sure that I’m going to forget all the bad memories and leave it here. I’m bringing jut the good
memories to the Philippines.
“Koharu-chan, we have a farewell party for you after graduation. What time is your flight the next day?” Akira-chan asked. We’re here
in our classroom.
“Okay. 8 am.” I said.
“Okay. Be sure to be there. It’s on Yaotome-kun’s shop.” She said.
“I’ll be there don’t worry. The star should be there right?” I said playfully.
“Yeah you should.” Akira-chan said.
“I’m going to miss you.” She added the hugged me.
“We’re going to miss you.” Asuna-chan said as she come closer to us.
She then joins the hug.
“Don’t lose contact to us, Koharu-chan.” Yamada-kun said.
“Yah! Yama-kun! Don’t join them. That’s girls’ thingies.” Yaotome-kun said.
“But we would really miss you Koharu-chan. Don’t forget us.” Yaotome-kun added.
“How can I forget people like you?” I asked them.
“Akira-chan. Asuna-chan. Yamada-kun. Yaotome-kun.” I started.
“You guys had been part of my life here in Japan. All the memories we all shared together. All the pain we’ve gone through as friends. I
will never forget that.”
“Koharu-chan!!!” Asuna-chan cried.
“Don’t cry Asuna-chan. Yamada-kun doesn’t want that view.” I told her.
“Akira-chan, you too. Stop crying. I’m not going to die.” I said.
They all stopped as I said the word die.
“You’re not going to die.” Yaotome-kun said.
“Yes. You’re not.” Yamada-kun added.
“You’re strong.” Akira-chan
“We all love you.” Asuna-chan.
“Why are you suddenly acting weird guys? Did you really think that I was going to die?” I asked then laughed a little.
“No. We just,” Akira-chan answered.
“We’re just going to really miss you.” Asuna-chan said.
“You’re not planning on forgetting me after I leave ne?”I asked.
“Of course not!” Yaotome-kun said.
“Good. Good.” I said then give them a smile.
How could I forget the people who made my life here in Japan so unforgettable.
Akira-chan. Asuna-chan. Yaotome-kun. And Yamada-kun.
No one else but them.
