Koharu’s POV
 

Part of forgiving is space. Not only to Yabu-kun but to all my classmates.

I’m ignoring them for 3 days straight. Except for Yamada-kun, Asuna-chan and Keito-kun.

I’m letting the pain fade away with the time.

Even though I miss them a lot, the pain overcomes it. The pain of what they did.

I know in myself that I can forgive them. But not now.

Soon.

The wounds are still fresh. But it’s healing. Slowly healing.

Even with the group works, it’s either I do all the tasks and don’t let the others do a single thing or I will ask the teacher to be grouped

with Keito-kun, Yamada-kun and Asuna-chan.

When eating, I’m always with the three of them.

After class, Keito-kun walks me home.

I ask help from Yamada-kun when I’m having a hard time with the subjects.

This is the 4^th day of the healing process. It’s like I’m sick LOL.

After class, Keito-kun told me that he has something important to do that he can’t walk me home this time.

As I approach the gate, a kid gave me a paper.

8 steps to your left.

I don’t know if I should follow what’s written on the paper. It’s getting late and it’s dangerous to be alone.

But the kid doesn’t look dangerous. He looks like an angel.

He did puppy eyes to me.

“I’ll do it.” I said to him.

“I’m going to be safe ne?” I asked him.

“Hai! I’ll protect you Onee-chan!” he replied cheerfully.

Then he pulled me to my left counting the steps I make.

Then another kid approached me and gave me another paper.

The next kid looks like Neji-kun.

That happened for about 7 times. So I have 7 kids with me and it’s already dark.

How can I protect these kids if something bad happens?

“Kids, listen to Onee-chan.”

“It’s already dark and it’s dangerous to be outside.” I told them.

“But Nee-chan! One more! And we’re there!” One of them answered.

“Sou desu ka? Okay. But keep close to Onee-chan okay?” I told them.

“Hai!!” All of them answered cheerfully.

We met the last kid and he just stands there.

He gave me a smile.

And at that moment, lights opened.

I realized I’m in the park.

And all my classmates are waiting for me. Including Asuna-chan, Yamada-kun and Keito-kun.

“Koharu-chan,” Akira-chan said.

She went closer to me and I can see tears in her eyes.

“Hontou ni..*sob* Gomenasai *sob* I know you’re angry and, and”

I didn’t listen to her.

I just hugged her.

“I missed you.” I said to her

And I heard her cry louder.

My other classmates also went closer to me. And said their sorry.

“We’re sorry Koharu-chan.”

“You can shout at us Koharu-chan”

“Curse us. Do whatever you want. We just want you to forgive us.”

They all made letters. They all said their sorry but the one I’m waiting for is not yet here.

I looked around. He’s not here.

“Are you looking for someone?” Yaotome-kun asked handing me a cd.

“All we want to say is on this CD and on the letters.” He added.

“He’s not here.” I said.

“I’m here.” Someone answered.

He went closer to me. Our classmates are still there. Watching us.

“Before anything else, I want you to please listen to all the things I will say first. After that, you can do whatever you want. Okay?” he

said.

I nodded.

“Koharu-chan.” He started.

He looked into my eyes.

“Gomenasai.” I can see tears forming in his eyes. I can feel tears in my eyes too.

“I love you, you know that.” He said.

“You d~” he cut me.

“Let me finish.” He said.

“I don’t know if you felt that but I really do. I wasn’t able to show you, I didn’t trust you. I’ve hurt you. I’m an idiot for hurting someone as

precious as you. I hate myself for not being able to protect you. How can I protect you If I’m hurting you myself. I’m also sorry to Keito-

san. I was afraid that I’ll lose you. I went overboard of being protective and possessive.”

He brushed a tear.

“Aish. It’s hard! Hoo!” he said letting a breath out. I can see that it’s really hard for him but he’s doing his best.

He looked back into my eyes.

“I love you and I’m sorry.” He said.

“I hate you.” I said to him. I’m punching his chest.

“I ..the pain..hurt,…you..” I said between my cries. I can’t complete my sentences. I’m just punching him weakly while crying.

“Slap me. Hurt me. Punch me. Do whatever you want. I know this is nothing compared to what I’ve done.” He said.

I continued punching him weakly while crying.

“How can you..Yabu-kun..” I said.

After all that, I calmed a little. And after calming down, I was shocked on what he did.

 He kneeled in front of me.

I don’t know what to do. The pain is here. He deserves this! He is obliged to do this!! He hurt me!!! This is nothing compared to what I

felt at the time they were all against me.

That’s what my mind says.

But my heart says another.

Tears continued to flow.

Seconds passed.

Then I decided to follow my heart.

I kneeled too.

Then I hugged him.

“I love you too.” I said to him.

I felt him hug me back.

At that moment.

All the pain faded.

I don’t care if people are watching us.

All that matters is the both of us.

I missed his hug.

I missed his smell.

I missed him. Everything about him.

It felt like centuries since we’ve been together.

Hi hug tightened.

I can feel that he’s crying.

Silently.

After what happened, Yabu-kun and I walked.  Light feelings and happy mood.

He told me that the kids are our classmates’ younger sisters and brothers.

“Hontou?” I asked then laughed. That’s why the other looked like Neji-kun.

“Koharu-chan.” He’s voice changed to a serious tone.

“Am I really forgiven?” he asked seriously.

“Not yet.” I said with a smile.

“Eh~?” he asked

“You have to sing a song for me first.” I said. I missed his voice.

It’s been a while since I last heard it.

“Okay. Watch out cause you’re about to witness the best singer in the whole world!!” he said.

“Prove it.” I said. I missed the times that we’re talking like this. No problems, no worries.

“Okay, *cough* *cough*” he started.

“Yah!! I want a more serious one! “ I said stopping my laugh.

“That’s a serious one. Aren’t you a fan of super junior?” he asked.

“I am, but I want a more serious song.” I said.

“

I missed his voice.

He’s like an angel.

I ‘m just staring at him while he’s singing. Okay fine I admit it. He’s gorgeous.

I’m so lucky having a guy like him.

“Don’t let go. No matter what happens. Don’t let go.” I said.

“I won’t. Promise.” he said.

“I love you.” I told him.

“I love you more.” He said then leaned closer to me.

Closer.

Then closer until our lips touch and the fireworks started.
