Koharu’s POV

I arrived at school a lot early than I usually was. Yabu-kun told me he can’t come with me because he has basketball practice. Yes.

He’s already a part of the basketball team of our school. And yes. Their practice is 5 am! Can you believe that? Basketball so early in

the morning? But that’s okay. ^_^ What I worry is what if Yabu-kun gains more fans? Aish. A lot of additional competitors. Competitors?

Not really. They all know that Yabu-kun is mine already so…

I was walking on the outside of our school building when I felt someone covered me.

*Boogshh!*

What’s that?

Then  I saw Keito-san.

“Da..daijobou desu ka?” he asked.

“Hai.” I answered.

Then he suddenly fell unconscious on the ground.

“Keito-san!Keito-san! Oh my!!” I said while panicking.

“Yah!!! Keito-san!”

What am I going to do?

Keep Calm and think. Keep Calm and think.

It’s so early. The school nurse is not yet here.

Aish. I’m just going to bring him in the classroom.

As we arrive in the classroom, I immediately get the first aid kit and cured the scratches he got from falling. I also put cold compress on

his head while unconscious.

I was sitting beside him when he woke up.

“Koharu-san.” He said.

“Whaaa!!!! Keito-san!! Thank God you’re awake!! You don’t know how worried I am!” I shouted.

“Gomenasai.” He said.

“Are you okay now? Are you feeling something? Does it hurt somewhere?” I asked continuously.

“Daijobou desu. You? Are you okay?” he asked

“Omae! Why do you keep on asking me?! Think of yourself first!” I said

He keeps on asking me if I’m okay even if’ he’s the one hurt here. Is he crazy?

Then I thought that I really don’t know what happened.

“What happened there?” I asked.

 “I saw you walking, then you stopped I heard you say they won’t win against me. I’m supposed to ask you what was that but as I

approach you I saw something falling from the 5^th floor. Then out of my instincts I covered you.” He said.

Then I remembered seeing the broken pot of plant.

“The plant. It was a pot of plant. I saw it after you lost consciousness. But how could that fall from the 5^th floor?” I asked him.

“I don’t know. Maybe someone accidentally pushed it.” He said.

“This early in the morning?” I asked.

“Wakaranai.” He replied

“Arigatou. I’ll make it up to you next time.” I said

Then Yabu-kun arrived.

“Ohayou.” He said.

“Ohayou” we both replied.

“Why are you two here so early? And why are you full of band-aids and plasters?” Yabu-kun asked while looking at Keito-san.

“Something bad happened a while ago.” I said.

“Eh?! Daijobou desu ka?” Yabu-kun asked.

“Hai. Thanks to Keito-san. I’ll tell you the whole story later. Let’s just get ready. Other students start to arrive.” I said.

“Okay” they both said.

Why do I keep on being engaged to bad things?

It never happened before.

But maybe it was just an accident.

No one would want to hurt someone that badly.

Or maybe someone does.

I told Yabu-kun the whole story and then he talked to Keito-san.

I don’t know what they talked about but when they come back they’re both laughing.

“What did you two talked about?” I asked.

“Nandemonai.” He answered ^.^

Keito’s POV

I really expected that this would happen so I went to school early. I heard Freya-chan’s plan. She’s planning to hurt Koharu-san. In

many ways.  Maybe because of Yabu-kun. And I heard, while she’s talking to the juniors, that she’s not going to stop until Koharu-chan

is badly hurt. Not only physically, but emotionally too.

And I was very lucky that I arrived at school on time. I was about to tell her to be very careful always. I can’t tell her to be careful around

Freya-chan because I don’t have any evidence. And as I approach her, I saw the something falling that I immediately covered her.

I didn’t know that Freya-chan would go this far. Koharu-chan could have died!

Maybe I should tell her about this.

But, Freya-san might hate me.

To tell you the truth, I transferred in this school because of Freya-chan.

She’s strong person. Her parents died at plane crash. She now stays at her grandparents in Okinawa. But she never showed anyone

that she’s crying. Except me. I always look out for her. When she’s alone, I accompany her. When she’s crying I ladies her. And as I

was doing that, I understood how she feels. Why she acts this way. She feels miserable about her parents dying and Yabu-kun

breaking up with him at the same time. That’s why she got worse. It’s as if the world is so unfair when it comes to her. So as a friend

and a secret lover, I made her feel that she’s not going to face her problems alone.

She’s just misunderstood.

 I tried to tell her that she shouldn’t hurt other people. But she wouldn’t listen. She told me that she’s not going to stop until the pain in

her heart fades.

I always tell her that what she’s doing is wrong. But she never listens. And so, I stopped reminding her of things. I stopped lecturing

her. I thought that maybe, she could make that pain in her heart fade herself.

And now, here we are, at the current school of Yabu-san. I didn’t come to my mind that she still hasn’t move on. But I’m going to let her

do things in her own way.

Freya’s POV

I didn’t expect that Keito-kun would do that.

That guy. He shouldn’t have done that. And now he’s the one who’s hurt.

It’s not my fault. It’s his fault, for protecting that freak.

I don’t know why other people’s worlds seem to revolve around her.

And if she thinks that she’s going to get Keito-kun away from me too, she’s wrong.
