Taeyeon’s POV

It was early morning from what I could see through the window. The light had shine on my face causing me to turn my head a bit for the light. I slightly open my eyes and see a girl next to me. Her face was tilted down a bit so I could only see the top of her head. I rub my eyes trying to get a clearer vision of what was next to me. When my vision clears up at first I thought I saw an angel.  I stare at her for a moment trying to take in how beautiful she was. As I turn over to look at the clock I notice that it is 7:30 in the morning. I decide that I must go make breakfast for everyone. I try to get up but I notice something that is holding me back. I look to see her arm around my waist. I try to pull it back a bit but her arm won’t budge. So I lay there trying to think of a way to get out of bed without waking her up. But I realize I have to pee really badly.

‘Aish forget sleeping I need to go’

 I poke her shoulder gently.

“Fany-ah”

She snores a bit and I can’t help but giggle at her cute sleeping habits.

“Fany-ah”

“……….”

“Fany-ah, I have to use the restroom”

She slowly opens her beautiful eyes and looks at me. She then realizes her arm is wrapped around my waist and quickly removes it.

“oh.. mianhae.” She says softly.

“It’s fine. Go back to sleep, I have to use the restroom and then I’ll make breakfast.”

I run into the bathroom to do my business and once I finish I hear sizzling sound coming from the kitchen.

I walk into the kitchen to see my grandparents already awake.

“Grannieeee, I was going to make breakfast this morning.”

“It’s fine besides your grandpa here was starving so I will.”

“Alright but let me help you”

“Oh by the way, Taeyeon, your friend, Yuri is coming to visit you. You need to go pick her up at the airport. I think she should be landing around noon.” Granny said before getting back to her cooking.

“Really? Yuri is coming? I wonder why all of a sudden.”

“Dunno, anyways don’t forget and bring your friend, Tiffany along as well”

“De..”

‘I wonder why she is coming. Oh well. I have to keep Tiffany’s secret from Yuri or else she’ll freak! Aishh this will be difficult. Yuri is always suspicious of me even when we were young’

I walk back into my room and see that Tiffany is awake.

“Good morning” I say with a smile

“Good morning Tae~”

“So Granny has made breakfast already, whenever you feel like eating we’ll go and my friend Yuri is coming today so we will have to pick her up at the airport.”

Tiffany’s POV

Mmhhhmmm. I finally start getting to my sense and see that Taeyeon has just walked in.

“Good morning”

I replied “Good morning Tae~”

“So Granny has made breakfast already, whenever you feel like eating we’ll go and my friend Yuri is coming today so we will have to pick her up at the airport.”

I nod and agree.

‘Wait who this Yuri? I wonder what’s her relationship with Tae’

“So what time are we going to get her Tae?”

“Around noon which will give us plenty of time to get ready and what not, You hungry?”

I nod my head and get out of bed. I follow her to the kitchen and we both sit down at the table and start eating.

It’s kind of quiet so I break it by asking, “So what is this Yuri person like and how long have you known her?”

“She is my best friend. We’ve known each other since we were kids. She is pretty tall, tan, black hair and really pretty and fit for a nerdy scientist aha.”

“She is a scientist too?”

“Yeah we work together.”

I couldn’t help but be a little jealous at how Taeyeon complimented her looks.

After a while, we finish dinner and Taeyeon goes out to do the chores needed around the house, while I follow. We enter the barn with a bucket in Taeyeon’s hand.

“Today I will teach you how to milk a cow.”

“Ugh Tae. That cow is mad, she doesn’t even like me.” I frown.

“You just have to pet her in the right spot and then she’ll let you.

She grabs my hands and places it gently behind the cow’s ear.

“She likes to be scratched behind the ear and patted on the head.”

I nod and did that as Taeyeon’s hand guides mine. I couldn’t help but blush a bit.

“Now that she understands that you’re not going to hurt her, you can start milking her.”

“But Tae, I still don’t know how.”

“Here”

She grabs my hand and lets me sit on the stool. She hugs me from behind and guides my hand to the utters. She leans against me and grasps my hands.

“You have to squeeze the utters in order to get the milk”

I do that gently with Taeyeon’s hand on top of mine, guiding me to milk the proper way. As we fill up the bucket I rest my arms as well as she.

*sigh* “That’s tiring”, I complain. She laughs and says, “You did well for your first time”

I turned my head to look at her smiling. Her eyes are so beautiful. They were like black holes that I could forever get lost in. Her lips were so full with a light pink which complemented her skin. I realized we were but a few inches apart from each other. Unconsciously, I start to lean in closer and she doesn’t seem to be moving away. I close my eyes and lean in and I can feel her breathe on my lips. She smelled so good. Just about inches away from her lips…………

*RRRRRIIINNNNNGGG RINNNNGGG*

I jumped up as a reflex. My face started turning red from what just happened and I could see Tae’s as well. Taeyeon came back to reality and answered her phone.

“Yoboseyo?”

My heart started the beat faster and I began to feel hot.

‘Oh My GOSH! Did I almost kiss her? What am I thinking falling for a human? My father will be pissed!...But it felt so right. Being in her arms and we almost kissed….What is this….’ All these questions start running through my mind….

So close! They almost kissed haha.

Next chapter Yuri will enter and of course she will be suspicous of them. hehe. and maybe the bounty hunters too.
