Taeyeon’s POV

As I was starting to wake up I smelled something cooking. It smelled good and started to open my eyes seeing my granny cook breakfast in the kitchen.

“Morning Granny!” I said happily, when I noticed I wasn’t in my room like usually.

Suddenly I recalled everything that happened to me. “TIFFANY!” I yelled.

“Hush child, you’re going to strain yourself, what on Earth are you has gotten into you?” my granny hollered back as she was cooking.

“Oh, nothing Granny, ehh… just go back to your cooking”

I quickly ran off the couch and sprinted to my room.

I opened the door and looked inside.

It was empty. The bed was made and it looked like no one was in it.

‘Hmmm. Maybe it was all a dream… yeah that’s it… phew’ I thought.

I walked back into the kitchen and Granny had put out food on the table. I sat down and then Grandpa came in.

“Morning everyone!” Grandpa said as he went to take his seat next to me.

“Good morning”, Granny and I said in unison.

When suddenly I noticed there were four plates laid out. “Granny, why are there four plates out when there is only three of us?” I asked

“Oh, your friend is going to join us. She went to go milk the cow. She seemed like a sweet girl”, Granny smiled as she replied back.

‘Friend? …..TIFFANY!... wait Tiffany doesn’t know how to milk a cow! OH CRAP’

I ran outside of the house and into the barn where I saw Tiffany in the corner of the barn hiding from the mad cow trying to get her, though luckily the cow was tied up.

“EEEEEEEK! That cow is mad!” she hollered. “TAEYEON-AH! Save me!”

I looked at the situation and couldn’t help but laugh. “HAHAHA”

“This isn’t funny! Please help” she pouted and crossed her arms staring angrily at me.

“Araso. Give me the bucket.” I took the bucket from her and started walking to the mad cow “It’s alright Bessie; I’m just going to get some milk. I won’t let that girl hurt you. ahha” I said jokingly.

“Yah! Don’t side with the cow over me Taeyeon!” she pouted still in her corner.

I could help but smile at her childish act. As I finished milking the cow, I motioned Tiffany to the house with the bucket full of milk in my hand.

“So what did you tell my grandparents about you?” I asked trying to start a conversation.

“I said I’m a friend of yours who came to visit you last night. That’s all.” She smiled.

“What about your ship? Surely they’ll notice a big metal hunk of junk in the field. And how come your eyes aren’t purple anymore?”

“Don’t worry I’ll show you after we eat. And my eyes aren’t purple because I changed them automatically to a normal color here on Earth so I

would fit in more. Come on your Granny should be finished making breakfast for right now.”

As we got inside the house, Tiffany took her seat at the table while I handed the bucket of milk to Granny. We all sat down and started eating.

“YUMMMY!! This is so good I’ve never had anything like this before,” as she took another big bite of her breakfast.

“Really, Tiffany dear, you’ve never had pancakes before?”  Granny said quite shockingly.

 Tiffany just nodded her head and continued eating. I watched her enjoy the pancakes and she gave me a really big smile. I started to feel a little hot as I saw her smile. It was like her eyes were smiling at me as well. I started eating my food again with my head down trying to not look at her.

“So…. How long have you two known each other and where did ya’ll meet?” Granny asked as she started cutting her pancake.

I started to choke a bit on my pancakes at the question, trying to figure and answer. I looked to see everyone was looking at me. Then I cleared my throat and said, “Tiffany and I met in high school, we..uh… were in the same class. After high school she went on another career path and I became a scientist.”

“Oh how cute! Tiffany, did you know my little Taeyeon is one of the youngest scientists there is. She is only 23 and yet she is so famous!” Granny said proudly.

“Granny, we don’t need to share that. Besides, I’m not sure if I want to work as a scientist after what happened…”

Tiffany looked up at me trying to figure out what happened. I just suddenly looked away from her and looked at Grandpa who was reading the newspaper.

“Well, uh, I guess I should go clean up…. OH! Granny do you know where there is a car repair shop around here?” I asked.

“Hmmm… Yeah I think the closest one is in town. You know your childhood friend Onew? Well he owns one, I’m sure he could help you out.”

“Thanks Granny!” I said

“Oh by the way Taeyeon, your other friend Yuri called me to ask about you. She said she will be coming to visit soon just to let you know.” Granny said before she started to clean up the breakfast table.

“Oh ok, cool, Yuri is coming. I’ll go call Onew for a tow truck and…” I thought for a minute… ‘Oh crap how am I supposed to explain to Onew about the ship he has to repair’

“Taeyeon-ah” Tiffany interrupted as I was thinking. She finished her last bite of the pancake and said “Taeyeon-ah, I have to show you that ‘car’”. She motioned me to come outside and follow her.

As we walked out and towards where Tiffany ship landed, I noticed there was no longer a beat up ship but in its place was a beat up car.

“WHAT? HOW?!?.” I exclaimed.

“Like me, my ship adapts to its surroundings” she smiled back at my confused face.

*Sigh* “Well got any other surprises I should know about?”

“Hmm a few but right now. Let’s call Onew and get him to fix my ship/car. If he can fix the car form, once the car transforms back into the ship it’ll be fixed like it was before” she said while heading back.

I sighed and tried to understand what was going on before I felt a tug on my hand. I turned around as I saw Tiffany holding my hand and pulling me with one her eye smiles on her face. I couldn’t help but feel my heart beat faster as I let her pull me.

Maybe Jessica but havent decided.
