I still wasn't sure what was the reason behind Dongwoon inviting me to this cocktail party. We met once and that was it. I had to go nonetheless.

"So he let you sleep in his bed and slept on the floor?? Awwwwww Chlo!! That is the sweetest thing ever!"

"Yeah, I know right? We were supposed to go out tonight but I have this cocktail thing to go to."

"Don't stress yourself, there'll be plenty of time this weekend to hang out just the two of you."

"Seriously I have like an hour to get ready and I really don't feel like going. What do I wear?"

"A cocktail dress, duh!" Taka once again helping me to get ready.

"Let me walk you out, I have to go home anyway. I have to seriously study for this exam tomorrow. Call me when you get home okay?"

"Okay I will. Wait, before you go, Doojoon and I are going to some club tomorrow night. Why don't you come with, Gikwang is going to be there."

"I don't know Chlo, won't it be weird that I'm tagging along and stuff."

"Well no, because you and Gikwang can hang out and stuff. You know what I mean? Come on it'll be fun!"

"I cannot believe that you, YOU out of all people are inviting me to a club, is this really happening?"

"Hahaha I know right? But seriously, come with us, its going to be fun."

"Okay, just let me know what time and stuff. Good luck with the cocktail party, bye Chlo!" "Thanks T, see you tomorrow."

"Chloé, so good to see you again." Dongwoon greeted me as soon as he saw me. Before we could even greet each other properly, we had to pose for the paprazzi. It was such a long process and my heels were beginning to hurt my feet from all the standing.

"Let me introduce you to my brother-in-law and my sister." When Dongwoon introduced me to them I couldn't help but feel a little out of place. They were just so incredibly... Weird. I wasn't trying to be mean but I was really uncomfortable whenever they were around. Dongwoon and I sat at the bar and decided to have our dinner at the bar as well since the restaurant was extremely full.

"You look really beautiful tonight."

"Oh thank you." I was really facinated by the fact that he was a club manager but he was a complete dork. I've never in my life known a nerd that manages a club. He just seemed like one of those guys that someone like me would date. Not that I was interested, I was just analysing him.

"Listen, are you free tomorrow night?"

"Mmmm tomorrow? I'm so sorry I'm going out tomorrow night." I felt really bad for turning him down, he had this baby face that I couldn't help but feel sorry for.

"I don't mean to be forward or anything but I'd really love to get to know you a little more."

"Dongwoon, you're a great guy you really are, but there's kind of someone else. But that doesn't mean we can't be friends right?" He smiled weakly, I could tell that he wasn't digesting what I told him just now.

"I just hope you understand."

"Yeah I do, so if you're free to go for coffee, let me know. Just as friends." He smiled again, this time with a little more happiness. The rest of the evening, I started getting to know Dongwoon a little bit more. I was right about him, typical A+ student and studied hard. I also learned that he was divorced, he got married at the age of 19 and divorced 5 years later.

"Must have been so traumatic for you? To go through all of that."

"It was, I've been going to a psychologist for 4 years now. I guess we were foolish and young and we didn't know what the heck we were doing. But you seem like you got your head screwed on to your shoulders tightly?"

"Yeah, I'm not as figured out as you'd think." After dinner, Dongwoon dropped me off at my apartment. "So I'll call you for lunch sometime?" "Yeah sure, that would be great."
