The seed of friendship
Behind the glamour (Discontinued)
Your P.O.V.
Kenny's was the only spy lesson we had that day. We were informed that for the first three days, we'd only have one spy lesson per day as to not let us feel burdened. The others were just normal lessons that you learnt everyday in normal high schools. My teacher Huang Zi Tao hadn't come even once and upon further inquiring, I found that he had gone to China due to some family matters and would be back after a few days. Going to school wasn't such a fun experience for me. I mean...sure I had friends and stuff but, we weren't that close. I smiled when I had to, talked when I had to...it felt like I was forcing myself, I just couldn't find myself comfortable around them. The second day, we had a spy lesson with a guy called "Heechul" and just like Kenny; he refused being called Sir or Mr. Heechul. But, I guess, the teachers have a point. They aren't even that old enough to be a teacher, still in their early 20s I guess. Heechul was, in my opinion, a fantastic spy. He taught us to speak English in British and Jamaican accent. He said “Being a spy, you should never let your origin be known. It’ll be easier to track you down if your speech makes it obvious about your residence.” It was fun, trying to speak in the tone which obviously wasn’t ours. Life just went on…and, somehow I felt that the real deal hadn’t even begun yet. On the third day, or shall I say our last day of normal studies we were midway into solving Math problems when Krystal nudged me. I turned to look at her inquiringly when she passed me a note which read “Hey, wanna be lab partners for the next period?” The next period was Electronics. Though I didn’t get why we would need a lab for, I scribbled a “Yes” in the note and passed it to Krystal. She looked it and beamed like I had just passed some sort of magic charm to her. I chuckled at her reaction and went back to solving my math problem….what was the formula of tan3A again…?
Third person P.O.V.
You had started to feel like the period would never end when the bell sounded again. A man entered almost immediately as if he had been standing outside the classroom the entire time waiting for the bell to ring. Without wasting any second, he started speaking, “The name is T.O.P., I am going to teach you about all the technical things you need to know in your spy life including the gadgets and the internet and all those other stuffs. Time is ticking by so don’t linger here. Follow me to the lab.” We all hurriedly scrambled to our feet, excited for the only spy lesson of the day. When we entered the computer lab, T.O.P. asked to select a partner and go to sit at any computer we liked. Before you could cay “Gems” everyone had sat down at a computer while you just stood there, amazed at their speed. There were only two computers left. They were at the farthest end of the computer lab and were side-by-side. You glanced around and saw that only four of you were left to get a computer; you, Krystal, Kai and a guy called D.O. You and Krystal sat on the right computer while D.O. and Kai sat on the left. The seating arrangement from the left was D.O.-Kai-you and Krystal. You didn’t know how you and Kai
