Eunmi's POV

Why the hell, is it so dark now. It's only 6:30pm. I looked up at the already night-sky. Guess that happens when it's winter. I let out a breathe, I liked seeing the way it formed in the frigid, cold air. 

Looking around, there weren't many people out in the streets. Did I say many? I meant no one. There was absolutely no one in the streets but me. Sketchy much.

Turning off my ipod but leaving the earbuds in my ear, I resumed walking. Nothing like a walk in the evening with no signs of life to   ease yourself. Everything was well until I heard a sound behind me. Thinking it was just an animal I didn't turn around. 

CRUNCH.

There.

That sounded like somebody stepped on a twig. There was nobody around... it's an animal. It got to be. The crunch soon turned into a quiet snickering. 

Calm. Remain calm I told myself.

But I couldn't. So I turned around.

And was greeted by 4 teenagers. 4 teenagers with erted grins on their faces and who looked like they were up to no good.

No. 

This does not happen to me. I quickly ran for it knowing what the situation could turn into if I didn't react. 

" Get her. " one of them said. 

I ran faster. My blood was pumping. My heart was pounding loudly. I was just going home, why did this happen. 

No.

Stop, stop thinking. Just keep running. Concentrate on running. 

I didn't know where I was going, I just focused on putting a foot in front of the other. I took a quick glance to see if they were still behind, strike one, bad move that was. One of them was right behind me, my slight hesitation was his advantage to grabbing my hoodie. 

"Where you going little girl?" He asked me in a teasing yet frightful way.

I punched him in the eye. 

"YOU LITTLE !" He cried out in fury while clutching his left eye socket. 

I ran like the Flash.

"Get her. NOW." The one I punched yelled at his friends. I just socked the leader. Strike two for me. 

I was breathless yet I kept moving. If I stopped, it would possibly be the end of me. Feet don't fail me now. 

I spoke too soon. My running lead me into an alleyway, an alleyway with a dead-end. 

Strike three. 

& I'm out. I lost. 

Catching my breath, I tuned around. Getting ready to face my doom.
