Sunggyu saw the dejected look on Woohyun's face.  How he yearned to hold the boy in his arms but he had to restrained himself.  This was for the best.  Silence filled the room.

"I'm sorry," Woohyun apologised.  "I'll leave."

Before he had a chance to open the door, Sunggyu grabbed his arm and stopped him.  "Leave?" asked Sunggyu.  "Why?"

Woohyun was surprised that Sunggyu was even attempting to stop him.  He didn't understand why Sunggyu would want him around after having rejected him.  "I must be an eyesore to you so it's best if I go."

"You're not an eyesore," Sunggyu stated firmly.  "And I don't want you to go."

"Why?" Woohyun asked but Sunggyu could not give him an answer.  "If you treat me too kind, I'll misunderstand again."

"I worry about you," Sunggyu finally replied.

"Like a father?" asked Woohyun.  "I don't want that!"

Woohyun yanked his arm out of Sunggyu's hold and pushed him in the stomach where his wound was.  Sunggyu flinched at the sharp pain as Woohyun ran out the door.


Woohyun ran through the dark and deserted streets as the rain started to pour.  He knew he shouldn't be having feelings for the older man but he couldn't deny them.  But what hurt him the most was the rejection.  He had thought that the older man shared the same feelings but he was wrong.

"Woohyun!"

He heard his name being called and he knew who it was.  "Why did you come after me?" Woohyun asked, refusing to turn around to face the older man.
"You'll get sick," said Sunggyu.  "Let's go back."

Woohyun shook his head.  "Why do you care?" he asked.  "I don't need your pity.  Just leave me alone."

At that moment, Woohyun felt strong arms embracing him from behind.  Woohyun's heart stirred when he realised Sunggyu was drenched as he was.  The rain continued to pour as Sunggyu tightened his embrace.

"I tried," whispered Sunggyu.  "But my heart won't let me."

Hearing these words, Woohyun slowly turned around to face the older man.  Sunggyu saw Woohyun's red eyes and knew he had been crying.  His heart ached a little knowing he was the cause of it.

"Don't you think a twenty year is too much?" asked Sunggyu.  "People your age would consider me an old man."

Woohyun shook his head.  "I like you no matter how old you are," he confessed.

Sunggyu smiled as he carefully wiped the tears along with the rain from Woohyun's cheeks.  His hand trailed to cup Woohyun's chin as he leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on the boy's lips.

"I'll wait until you're ready," said Sunggyu.  "So there's no need to rush into things."

A brief smile appeared on Woohyun's face.

Hand in hand, the pair walked away, unaware that a figure was watching them as he stood nearby with an umbrella in his hand.


After reapplying Sunggyu's bandages due to them being soaking wet, Woohyun made sure to tuck Sunggyu into bed.  Sunggyu did not object as he let Woohyun do as he pleased.  He watched as Woohyun disappeared into the kitchen only to come back out moments later.

"I'll be back," said Woohyun as he headed for the door.

"Where are you going?" asked Sunggyu.

"I wanted to to make lemon tea but your kitchen is empty," replied Woohyun.  "I'll go see if there's a store still opened."

"There's no need," said Sunggyu.  "Plus, it's late."

"It should be fine.  The rain finally stopped," said Woohyun.

Sunggyu knew Woohyun wasn't going to listen to his reasoning.  "Here," said Sunggyu, handing Woohyun his wallet full of money.  "You'll need this."

Woohyun refused to accept it.  "It's okay, I-"

"Nothing is for free in this world," said Sunggyu.


He walked at a hurried pace to the abandoned warehouse where the man was waiting.  The man smirked when he saw him.

"You calling me out so urgently," said the man.  "What is it?"

"I need a favour," he replied.
