Woohyun slowly regained consciousness as he opened his eyes and stared up at Myungsoo.  The man had him pinned on a bed.  Woohyun's eyes widened in shock when Myungsoo leaned down and kissed him briefly on the lips.  Myungsoo expected Woohyun to struggle and break free, but Woohyun remained still.

"You're not going to resist?" asked Myungsoo, a little surprised.

Woohyun bit his lips.  "I owe you," replied Woohyun.  He knew there was no way he could repay the debt he owed the man for his grandmother's surgery.

Myungsoo smiled with delight.  "Oh, is this your way of saying thanks?"

Woohyun closed his eyes as Myungsoo leaned down to kiss him.  When their lips were merely inches apart, Myungsoo noticed the silent tears strolling down Woohyun's cheeks.

Woohyun waited, expecting to feel Myungsoo's lips upon his, instead he felt gentle fingers wiping away his tears.

"Don't cry," he heard Myungsoo say.

Woohyun slowly opened his eyes wondering why Myungsoo had stopped.  "Don't you want me either?" he asked.

Myungsoo sat up and laughed bitterly.  "I wanted you the first moment I saw you," he admitted.  "But it seems you've already given your heart to someone else."

"He doesn't want me anymore," Woohyun replied sadly.  "He doesn't care about me anymore."

"Really?" Myungsoo smirked.  "Then who was the fool who stayed by your side day and night, refusing to let go of your hand?"  He got up and headed for the door.  "One more thing," said Myungsoo as he stopped at the door.  "I shouldn't be saying this to help my love rival but, you're mistaken.  I had intended to pay the surgery for your grandmother, but some jerk beat me to it."

Woohyun was shocked when he heard this.  He had assumed it was Myungsoo since he saw him that night.

"Looks like I wasn't the only one who heard you that night," said Myungsoo with a smile.

Woohyun was speechless when he realised that he had been wrong all this time.  He cast his mind back to that night.  He definitely saw Myungsoo talking to the nurse that night.  He remembered returning to his room, only to meet Sunggyu in the hallway.  Sunggyu.  

Closing the door behind him, Myungsoo was startled when he saw Dongwoo waiting outside the room.

"I thought you were going to have your way with him," teased Dongwoo.  "What happened there?"

Myungsoo frowned and pouted.  "I wanted to," he replied.  "But then I saw him cry and it hurt."  He clutched at his chest.  "Why did it hurt?  Am I dying?"  He turned to look at Dongwoo.  "You're a doctor.  Fix me!"

Dongwoo let out a laugh.  "You idiot!"  He draped an arm across Myungsoo's shoulder.  "Come on, I'll buy you an ice-cream."

Myungsoo glared at Dongwoo.  "Ice-cream?  What do you think I am?  A kid?"

"Well, this is the first time I've seen you act like an adult," commented Dongwoo.  "I'm impressed."


In the grand mansion of the Hyo clan, Sunggyu stood alone in his room staring out the window as the rain splattered against the glass.  His thoughts were filled with worry and concern for the the boy who made his heart waver.  He let out a deep sigh as he leaned his forehead against the window.

"Woohyun, please forgive me," he said to himself.

When the rain finally stopped, Sunggyu gathered himself and focused on the matter at hand.  He loaded his gun and grabbed his sword.  As he got to the door, he stopped to send a quick message on his phone.  He waited until the sent message was confirmed before heading out the main gates to where his men were waiting.
