I guess this is where Myungsoo and you(Haneul) relationship starts to be put on a test

“S-suzy…”

 

“w-what a-are you do-ing h-ere?” I manage to utter.

 

“What are you doing HERE?’ she asked back, the tone of her voice was raised a little making me a bit nervous.

 

“I…uh…just..uhh.. with Sungyeol! “I lied.  I nervously wait for Suzy to answer, hoping that she would bite out my alibi. I hated lying.

But this is not the right time to tell her the truth, I don’t know when the right time is but certainly it’s not today.

 

Soon, suzy nodded her head. Thanks god she believe it.

 

“Did you know this is Myungsoo’s house?” she asked as she comes inside.

 

 

“sungyeol did tell m-me”  Suzy didn’t say anything instead she head straight at the kitchen like it was her own house, drink a glass of cold

water before putting down the glass with a small force on it creating  a little thud sound against the black marble which shocks me a little.

 

 

“So.. Ha neul tell me, have you meet Kim Myungsoo already?” my nervousness got double at her question not to mention the tone of her

voice that is somewhat interrogating.

 

 

“I..have. H-he’s s-so famous at school, everybody knows him” I tried to sound normal.

 

 

“you’re right.” 

 

 

“and you probably know how I REALLY like him since I told you a hundred of times already,right?” God. Why do I feel like I’m on a

court trial wherein I’m one of those primary suspect and Suzy was the prosecutor who’s trying to caught me off guard and confess my

sins.

 

 

“I do..”  How can I forget she likes him that much? Every single time were hanging out together which is by the way I tried to avoid at

first but failed, she would never fail to mention his name, praised him like he is one of the kindest human being God has ever made

(which is not) and  tell me how handsome her L is.

 

And every time .. every time she say anything about L  a fang of guilt struck my hearts.

 

 

“then why didn’t you tell me?” I tensed up.  Out of the entire question I didn’t want to hear this is probably one of those.

 

 

“t-tell you wh-at?”

 

 

“stop playing innocent, Haneul-ah.. You know exactly what I’m talking about” Suzy’s expression was perturbing, her eyes are

emotionless and her tone was not that pleasing either.

 

 

“I..uh…Look S- suzy.. I..I.can....”  I tried to search for words, words that would make her understand that it wasn’t my intention to hide

everything that I really wanted to tell her the first time I knew but is afraid that she might get hurt and cry.

 

 

“you can what? Explain everything and tell me it wasn’t your intention? That’s bull! You could have told me the first time you met

me but you didn’t! You have a lot of chances Haneul-ah. ” she was right. I have a lot of chances but what did I do?

 

 

Nothing….

 

 

“Suzy?” Myungsoo’s voice breaks the awkward atmosphere.

 

 

And in an instant Suzy’s stern face turn into a happy one with a smile plastered all over her face.

 

“oppa” , she quickly ran to L and accidentally push me aside. I turn around only to see a clingy Suzy to him. Great, now I feel guiltier

seeing the two together.

 

 

“What are you doing here?” he asked Suzy.

 

 

“What kind of question is that? Of course I’m here for you oppa”she smiled at him and tighten the hold more.

 

“How did you get you in?”

 

Suzy diverted her eyes at me. Oh shot.

 

“oohh, that? she let me in. Do you know she’s my friend? She said she’s with Sungyeol oppa. Am’ I right, Haneul-ah?’ she gives me a

creepy smile sending shivers down into my spine.

 

 

“No, she’s my-----YES! Suzy is right! I’m with Sungyeol” I cut L sentences off, earning a ‘what-the-f” face on him.

 

Before the situation got worse or should I say weirder specifically Suzy’s action I need to get out of here.  “uuh, I think Sungyeol is

looking for me. Gotta go, bye!” I quickly exited the room and ran upstairs.

 

 

Upstairs, the atmosphere was a lot better and… normal. By I mean normal everyone was in a little commotion of itself, the usual

Infinite. Sungjong and Ren are trying to beat each other on a game but obviously neither of the two are doing good on the car race.

 

“ya!!!! You bump my car!!!!” Sungjong whined.

 

“that’s part of the game you dumb head!”

 

“yah! That’s a mean word!”Sungjong complained once again.

 

I chuckle at their endless childlike argument.  Dongwoo and Woohyun oppa is chasing Sungyeol oppa around with a weird way while

Sunggyu oppa keep on shouting and trying to stop them.

 

 

“yah!yah!yah! Lee Sungyeol! Return their ing pants already!!” now I get it.  Oh god! My eyes! I quickly take my eyes off at the

two oppa’s running only with a boxer.

 

I decided to seat next to Hoya oppa who is silently watching Ren and Sungjong game, once in a while he would teach Ren and Sungjong a

strategy making the two quarrels more.

 

 

Hoya oppa seems to notice something and asked me“yow, are you alright?”. I nodded weakly.

 

“are you sure?”

 

 

“I’m fine oppa, don’t’ worry” I give him a reassuring smile.

 

 

“ehem!” all the noisiness fades away, all attention was now on the person who fakes the cough which is Suzy by the way.

 

 

“annyeong oppa’s, it’s been a while “ Suzy greeted them.

 

“yeah right. Whatever” Sungyeol oppa throws back the pants at the two older and slum down to the sofa,his face looks bored and

irritated.

 

 

Soon, everybody was sitting on the couch watching Ren and Sungjong inevitable game.

“what about pizza? Right!! Pizza!” trying to break the awkwardness dongwoo oppa cheerfully suggested but all he got was a intense stare

at Sunggyu oppa telling him

 

“arr. I can’t take it, Im going home”Sungyeol oppa got up and was already near the stairs when Suzy spoke up.

 

“oppa, I think you forgot something”

 

“what?!”

 

“Haneul-ah.-she look at me before continuing—she’s with you right? Aren’t you going to bring her along?” she smirk.

 

His eyebrows knitted upon hearing suzy, he glance at me with a questioning look. I muttered the word “later” and then  I give him a

pleading look hoping he would just ride on what Suzy’s saying.

 

Luckily he did, “oh yeah, right. Haneul-ah let’s go”

 

And as if it was on cue, Ren suddenly stand up and grab my hand. “let’s go haneul-ah, Sungjong is no fun and hyung said were going. “

Thank Godness! I thought my best friend don’t care at the situation at all.

 

 

After the small scene at our house, I found myself sitting on Sungyeol’s garden with the two eyeing me.

 

“Soooo.uuhhmmm…

 

“okay, now explain! Why is Suzy’s there? Did she found out already? What did L said?” Ren impatiently asked.

 

sungeyol oppa put his hands on Ren shoulder. “hey calm down, bro.” 

 

“ I don’t know but  I think it’s weird seeing you together” I chuckled at the forming friendship between the two.

 

“not funny..” Ren shrugged oppa’s hand and rolled his eyes.

 

Sungyeol fake a cough then told me to tell everything. And so I did, I told him everything from the start, on how Suzy and I got to know

each other, on how when I open the door Suzy was there and Our little conversation on the kitchen.

 

“but there’s one thing I don’t confuse me”

 

“what?” they asked in unison.

 

“when L-ssi caught us on the kitchen Suzy never ask a thing about us. She did not directly ask anything and now I don’t know if she does

know it already or not.”

 

“Maybe she’s planning on something” Ren commented.

“I don’t think she can do that” whenever I see Suzy I always see the little girl I saved from the bullies years ago, a harmless little girl.

 

“just be careful from now on Haneul-ah. People are not what you always think they are, remember that…’
