I was supposed to introduce  Minhyuk role here but nah, need to keep him for some other parts.

“Anyone wants to ask a question?” woohyun oppa asked.

 

“I do” Sungyeol raised his hands. I carefully put my hand on the circular thing and waited for his question I have a feeling this one going to be personal.

 

 

And it is. “Did you like someone?” Oh my god, why is he asking a too personal question? Should I answer truthfully or not?  I decided to keep quiet for some seconds and finally answer it out truthfully.“Yes.”

 

 

“oooohhhh…”everybody said in unison while L keep quiet and just stare at me. His stare was rather confusing, for milliseconds he looks like shock then his now looking at me blankly.

 

 

 Soon the game ended as everyone started to get bored and decided to go home after eating dinner. I took a shower and started to do my homework at the dining room.  It was already past 10 when I finished it and drink a glass of milk before heading towards the room. I slowly open the door to our room thinking L might be sleeping by now but not he was still wide awake and reading a book on the bed.

 

 

I hop in the bed. “What are you reading?” I tried to sneak a peek but he twitches the book closer to him.

 

 

“Okay fine, guess you don’t want to talk. Goodnight” I tried to fall asleep but failed, god this insomnia attacking me again. I look at the hanging clock near the cabinet, it was already 12am. I shifted myself to left only to find out L still awake and reading. Weird, he usually sleeps early.

 

 

“Hey, you’re still awake” I said, he looks at me probably a little surprise that I’m still awake too.

 

 

“insomnia..’I said. Now what to do? Aha! I know..

 

 

“L-ssi..”

 

 

“What?” he asked, eyes now fixed on the book his still reading.

 

 

“Let’s play the truth game”

 

 

“NO”

 

 

“aww, come on. Just for a short time, can we?” I tried to ask cutely. Again he answers with a no.

 

 

“please…   Since will be having each other for quite some time might as well get to know each other, right?”

 

 

“fine, just  one question” he said.

 

 

“That’s lame, 10 maybe?”

 

 

“No, one”

 

 

“7?”

 

“No, one”

 

“5?”

 

“Aish, fine. “

 

“yay!”  Finally.

 

“So… you ask first” I said, anticipating his first question.

 

He put down his book and then looks at me.  “Are you… usually this annoying?”

 

“L-ssi!”

 

“Fine- he rolled his eyes. “ are you born in Japan?” he asked.

 

“No, I was born here. We stay here until I was 8 and grow up there until I was 18(Korean age), my parents stay there until now, business as usual.”

 

“You answer too many, just say yes or no” he then flick me on my forehead.

 

“awww. What’s that for?” I repeatedly rub my forehead and then pout.

 

“For talking too much” he smirked.

 

“Ooh. Okay, my turn now. Hmmm…” I beamed him a smile as I think on what question to ask him.

 

“so.. Tell me something about your family” I felt him tense up on my question.  I feel like I’ve asked one of the most unwanted question, he looked at me wearily his eyes looks sad.

 

“Nothing special got an older sister and a dad.” He said.

 

“That’s it?” he nods. “Well, how about your mom?”

 

“Died, 2 years ago..” he gloomily said, I felt a pang of sadness at his answer. He must be missing his mom so much. I put my hands on his back and then pat I lightly.

 

“What are you doing?” he curiously asked.

 

“Comforting you..” he give a weird look and then chuckle lightly.

 

“ooohh…. “ my face brightens . “you smile. You actually smile! “ I said happily. The smile I was happy to see faded quickly.

“You should smile more often, it suits you” Again he stared at me, this time our eyes met. His stares send shivers down my spine; it was cold and empty at the same time but never the less his stares made me feel lost. How can someone eyes be this cold? I wonder what made him like this.

 

“are you from Mars?” L-ssi voice disturbed my thoughts.

 

“ne?” I asked curiously. What is he asking about now? Do I look like some kind of alien to him?

 

“I.said. are.you.from. Mars?” he said, emphasizing on every word.

 

“That’s a mean question.” I whined.

 

“it’s just that.. youre weird”

 

“Weird? Me? I’m perfectly normal!” uuh, seriously. Just when I thought his getting nicer to me he would say something mean

 

“it’s just that you made me feel……” he stops on what his saying, probably doubting whether to he should finish his sentence or not.

 

“made you feel what?” I curiously asked.

 

I took him some seconds to answer. “Nevermind”, he said.

 

“okay”

 

Awkwardness begins to spread at the atmosphere as we both keep silent. I took a glance of him as he stare down on the book that was lying on his lap for quite some time now. My minds keep on battling out whether I should ask him about Suzy or not.

 

“stop staring at me”

 

“I’m not staring at you!”

 

“ooh, so you’re not staring at me? Checking me out maybe?” he gives me a playful look and smirked.

 

“me? What???!! Of course not!” Aigoo,chincha.

 

“Lies.” I rolled my eyes then sifted myself around. What a meanie. I’m totally not checking his out and now his calling me a liar.

 

“About Sungyeol…” I sense him lay on the bed.

 

 “What about Sungyeol oppa?”  I asked still facing the other way.

 

Dammnit, Myungsoo. Just ask who did she like already! (a/n: this is MYungsoo thoughts :D)

 

 I shifted around only to find L-ssi already looking at me.  “Hmm. His nice and fun to be with” I answered.

I minty breath escape from his mouth.

 

“why did you asked?” I curiously asked.

 

“nothing…”

So there, apparently Haneul/YOU did like someone. Who? take a guess :D
