"I can let Sungmin stay in my place." Kyuhyun told Hyukjae. "Afterall, that room is supposedly yours." Kyuhyun showed a straight
smile to the latter. They've been good friends right after the dance battle and they've been in constant communication even
before Kyuhyun went in the army. He knows he also told Kyuhyun about changing the future, he's a good friend and a reliable one.

Hyukjae looked down and sighed. He's upset that he missed his life for a year. He doesn't have a place to return to. He should
have known Sungmin occupied his room because he never showed up in the dorm anymore. Where is he going to stay? He needs to
think fast, but he just can't stop thinking a particular thought... As the
world revolves and time flies, during that year everyone has moved on...the only person who was stuck in that place and time...
is him.

"Stop thinking you are the only one, Hyukjae ah..." Kyuhyun said. Hyukjae met his eyes. What does Kyuhyun mean?

"You're not the only one stuck in the same time."

He didn't know Kyuhyun has a special talent in mind reading. What is he trying to say?

"What I'm trying to say is... he tried to find you as well. He could have done it earlier...but how could he? You promised to
find him so he stayed where he is. You cannot find a person who won't stay in one place, right?"

"Kyuhyun ah... I was behind everything." Hyukjae said. "I sent a letter in his locker and Siwon was the one who read it. He
broke up with Donghae because of it. Donghae wanted to end his life because of it." he swallowed. "How am I suppose to see
the person whom I brought such misery?"

Kyuhyun sighed. He understand what Hyukjae is implying but... "It's not your fault that he didn't believe in Donghae in the
first place."

"He still loves Donghae, Kyuhyun ah..."

"Hyukjae ah, stop forcing the issue. People made choices. You chose to save his relationship with Siwon. Siwon chose to
break it. Donghae chose to fall in love with you. Everybody has made their choices."

Hyukjae was not convinced with what Kyuhyun is saying. He still feels it is irresponsible for him to do all those and cause
everything.

Kyuhyun sighed as he patted his back. "Hyukjae ah... I may not be in the position to say this but...everything has its
reason."

Hyukjae looked at him. Kyuhyun looked down and smile. "Sungminnie... he's absolutely not the person I would want for myself."

Hyukjae straighten up when he heard that word. 3 years ago, Kyuhyun is that nerdy dancer who almost folded himself and hide
inside his pocket because of Sungmin's presence. The shy secret admirer of the former Student Council President. He swore he
never see Kyuhyun in his normal complexion whenever Sungmin is around, his face will be burning and would want to hide in the
nearest dark corner. And then they dated, he saw Kyuhyun smiling widely like he'd never seen before. Now what is he talking
about?

"For one... I never wanted to date a man. But-" Kyuhyun looked down and smiled shortly. "Can you keep a secret?"

Hyukjae nodded shortly and Kyuhyun breathe in deeply as if there is a bomb going to explode.
"I saw Sungmin in my dreams before even meeting him." he looked down biting his lips and feeling as if his face is burning.

"You what?" Hyukjae asked, trying his hard not laugh but in the end he showed a wide gummy smile.

"For a lot of times, he bothered me in my dreams so I thought I'm going crazy. He's a man for godsake. I know every guy my
age should be having dreams about girls and all but... he just keeps popping in my dreams. And then I entered college...
I saw him walking with a friend. He walked pass me." Kyuhyun chuckled shortly.

"I was dumbfounded. I mean... how possible is it that I've seen myself spending my life with him? I just saw him for the first
time in person and yet... I've seen my future with him beside me. Because of that... I just know I dreamt of him for a reason.
My consciousness chose him." Kyuhyun closed his mouth for a second and thought shortly.

Hyukjae looked down. He remembered the time he saw Donghae for the first time. Those sparkling eyes that became the
closest star to him despite the latter not knowing him. He cannot say he had seen himself spending the rest of his life with
Donghae, but the bliss of seeing that face could be an exciting thing every morning and probably every night. He smiled. Maybe
what Kyuhyun is saying makes sense afterall.

"Destiny and choices doesn't oppose each other, they support each other, Hyukjae ah. Those letters chose you, you can actually
just throw it since its nobody's business, but you chose to read them and reply to them. It's all a cycle, this
so-called fate leads you to choices which will lead you to another path. Stop making choices that won't make you happy."

Kyuhyun showed a straight smile and patted Hyukjae's shoulder. He felt better now...he knows he'll choose Donghae if he has a
chance, but since Siwon is back in the picture, he's not sure about Donghae's choice.

Donghae walked around the campus one afternoon. He has graduated last year and is now working is a small recording company as
a freelance songwriter. He sighed. Hyukjae could have graduated as well if it wasn't for the accident. Right now, he hasn't
heard anything about Hyukjae. Where is he? What is he doing now? Is he thinking about him too? Questions as such keeps on
bothering him.

He continuously walks until he reached the broken rubber tree. He stood there for a long time and recall Hyukjae's letter about
him waiting for a long time there. Donghae looked down and prayed he can meet Hyukjae again, face to face like that during the
dance battle. He wants to hold his hand and to see Hyukjae looking at him like before. He wants to taste those plump lips which
should be brighter by now compared to when he just opened his eyes in the hospital.

Hyukjae went for registration in school. He wasn't able to graduate so he needs to stay there for another year. He walked
around the campus and ended up sitting around the broken rubber tree. He looked at it and thought. "It could have been better
if we've met from the first time we try. Maybe then something could have happen between us...for real."

He sighed. From the time he met Donghae, it seems like there are so many things that has happened to him. The memories of him,
those twinkling eyes, the straight smile, even his voice, and the imaginary touch that Donghae did the moment Hyukjae opened
his eyes, the lips that were softer and warmer than he had imagined... he doesn't know if it was an imagination or a dream,
nevertheless, it felt so real. He smiled...the best and worst part of his life is a certain Lee Donghae.

Donghae was the best part because he showed Hyukjae that as long as it is love, everything is possible...even if it means
bridging time. He's the worst because...

"I can't be with you, Donghae ah..."
he said, believing he only whispered Donghae's name. He turned his back from the tree and started walking away.

Donghae looked back thinking someone called him softly.
