When He Spends Time With You and the Kids

-Sungyeol-

“Are you serious, dear ?” Sungyeol whimpered as he examined the drawing paper at his hand. “Baby, is this how you picture appa ?” Sungyeol just wouldn’t stop asking that two years old daughter of him, meticulously. You chuckled and laughed a bit. How childish he could be, even a picture…or we could just call that as doodles would really bug him.

“Yeol, stop asking her, she’s scared of you now,” You couldn’t surpress a totally amused tone and those laughter from your mouth. “And now you’re laughing at me too,” Sungyeol rolled his eyes and snorted at you.  Sungyeol then turned his head back to his daughter as he heard a cute giggle came out from her. “Eiii, you’re laughing at me too, little girl?” Sungyeol playfully asked her and pinched her nose lightly.

 “She’s still two okay, you should’ve been grateful that you could at least get…arms and legs in this,” you said playfully as you snatched the drawing paper from Sungyeol’s hands. You scanned the whole picture thoroughly before finally letting out a little gigglish voice under your breath. “The last time she tried to ‘draw’ me, I ended up as a huge…square-ish stool with no legs and arms,” you added.

“Seriously ?” Sungyeol started beaming and laughing as he somehow ‘won’ this so-called battle. “That means I won then,” Sungyeol couldn’t hold his laughter and literally bursting out in happiness as he took his daughter and sat her at his lap. He tickled her lightly, and she just squealed happily. “I always know that you love appa more than eomma,” Sungyeol said casually, as if you weren’t even there. You just pasted the WTF expression and eyed him glaringly. “I’m just kidding baby,” He quickly placed a peck at your cheek and smiled sweetly to get you smiling back at him.

-Myungsoo-

“Myungsoo-ah ?” You called out his name when you realized that Myungsoo went MIA and gone from his bed side. Started scanning around the whole bedroom, you called out his name again, in case he’s at the bathroom. “Myungsoo, are you there ?” you turned the doorknob of the bathroom just to find nothing. “Where’s him..,” you whispered lowly under your breath and scratched your head in confusion. You then led yourself out of the bedroom and wandered around the apartment to find where Myungsoo is.

“Baby…where are you ?” you lunged out again, this time slightly in fear as you started stepping into the poorly lit livingroom. There’s no sign of Myungsoo at any place inside the apartment  as you kept on looking and looking…was about to call his phone, you realized there’s one more room you haven’t checked yet. The baby’s room.

Hurriedly you walked faster to the room and cracked the door opened. You couldn’t help but smile when you saw him at the single couch near the baby’s crib. He was sleeping but his hands still firmly cradling the baby close to his chest.

“Myungsoo-ah…,” you carefully shaked his shoulder lightly to wake him up. “Hey..why are you here ?” you asked him with an extremely low voice as he started opening his eyes groggily. “O-oh..he was crying earlier…I was trying to soothe him down..but end up sleeping here,” he replied you softly as he made his way back to the baby’s crib and placed the sleeping baby carefully back to his crib.

“You should’ve just wake me up, look at that face..you look so tired baby..,” you said, slightly felt apologetic that Myungsoo still need to do this after working for hours out there. “I didn’t want to wake you up, handling him must be so tiring for you too…it’s my turn tonight,” Myungsoo smiled as he cupped your face with his hands. You couldn’t help but feel so touched by his words.

“Thanks, appa…,” you stole a quick kiss to Myungsoo’s lips. Too quick that he couldn’t even manage himself to kiss back before you pulling off your lips from him. “My pleasure…eomma,” he replied you back. His hands started gripping your waist and pulled you closer to his chest. “I need me a proper kiss instead of that one..,” he said before leaning closer to kiss you again.

-Sungjong-

“Yah yah yah!!” you yelled at Sungjong and shoved his hands off the baby as soon as you made it to the baby’s room. “What were you trying to do, killing our baby girl ?” you asked him sarcastically. “I was just trying to hold her..,” he answered you with a puppy pout. Oh geez…you’re weak to this. His pout is your weakness that you even softened your eyes the moment he made that pout.

“You don’t hold the baby that way, honey..,” you cracked a smile at him and tried to show him how’s the right way to do it. “You’ll break her neck if you just hold her by the waist like that..,” you carefully held the baby and took her out from the crib. Sungjong just nodded hie head up and down as he seen how you held her.

“Oh thank God you come and save her…,” he replied innocently. “I’m sorry..I never really hold a baby before..,” he said apologetically. “That’s okay, I know you’ve been busy all these past months…you don’t even have proper times to properly hold her,” you told him understandingly.

“And since it’s a free day, how about learning how to hold her ?...and if you’re good enough, maybe I’ll give you a bonus class of how to bathe her later today,” you offered him excitedly. Sungjong at the other hand couldn’t hide his excitement and clapped his hands happily. “Sounds great, baby!! We can even start now~,” he told you spiritedly.
