Tiffany walked alone in the dim basement, heading to the limo.

She didn’t know why but her mood suddenly dropped after the shopping session was interrupted by an annoying stranger who kept staring at Taeyeon like she was going to eat him alive.

She frowned and mumbled to herself.

“Why do I feel like..” Being betrayed by your master, Tiffany-ssi? That Sunmi girl totally has a hot for your master, doesn’t she?

“Nooo.. I’m not jealous.” Who says about jealousy?

“I— Just shut up, author.” Ooh, I’m scared.

“You’re ruining this story.” Poor you, I love what I’m doing.

“I’ll tell your mom if in 3 seconds you don’t--” FINE. I’ll leave, I’ll leave.

 *poof*

So..

Tiffany walked alone in the dim basement, heading to the limo.

She didn’t know why but her mood suddenly dropped after the shopping session was interrupted by an annoying stranger who kept staring at Taeyeon like she was going to eat him alive. And in case you are wondering, yes, this a copy-paste. HAHA.

Back to the story,

Tiffany’s footsteps echoed in the basement since it was rather quiet down there.

She didn’t feel really nice as something that usually appears in horror movies was one of her weak point, besides bugs.

She stopped walking when she heard another footsteps besides hers, like there was someone behind her.

She looked back and took a quick scan of her surroundings.

The fact that she found no one while the footsteps sound didn’t stop, successfully sent shivers down her spine.

She shook her head, shoving away the thoughts of creepy things and decided to quicken her pace.

At least in the limo she would be able to turn the music on.

So she did, she quickened her pace. But she could hear that the footsteps quickened the step too.

She abruptly stopped and turned back.

This time she found a messy-looked man, with a bottle of  alcoholic drink in his hand, limping to the sides.

His face was all red and his eyes seemed not focused, alcohol smell was all over him.

Tiffany sighed in relief at the sight.

Did the fact that a drunken man that was obviously bigger than her and possibly had a bad intention, make her relieved?

No, the fact that it was a human being’s footsteps she heard, did.

She knew that a drunken man would do whatever he wanted, and she knew his wants wouldn’t be good.

But overcoming one man, wasn’t a really big deal for her.

The man hiccuped as he let out a hoarse laugh. “Pretty babe..” he hiccuped again.

Tiffany wrinkled her nose in disgust as she could smell the strong alcohol scent from the man. She decided to just ignore him and walked away as fast as she could.

She gasped when she suddenly felt a grasp on her wrist.

She hissed annoyedly as she tried to let her hand go.   

“Let me go.”

“N-no *hic* w-way.. *hic*,” the man said as he showed her the most erted smile she had ever seen in her life, even more erted that her master’s. “We’re *hic* gon’ have fun!”

 “I said let me go, sir.”

“Come oooon, babe. I will make you feel so goooood..” he exclaimed as he tightened his grip on Tiffany’s wrist.

And that was it, the man did too much and it crossed Tiffany’s patience line.

She was ready to give him one kick on his crotch that he wouldn’t be able to forget.

But before she could do that, she heard a stomped kick.

She turned to the source of the sound and saw Taeyeon, with a furious yet worried face.

“HEY!” Taeyeon shouted at the man as he rushed to him. “GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF HER!” he roughly pushed away the man from Tiffany and hit him hard right on the nose. Taeyeon kicked his stomach and the man fell backwards while groaning in pain.

He then turned to Tiffany and touched her cheek. His eyes were full of worry as his heart beat fast. “Are you okay, noona?”

Tiffany smiled upon seeing his caring action. “I’m okay.”

“Did that jerk do something to you?”

“No--” Tiffany’s eyes widened when she saw the man was already recovered and swinging the beer bottle towards Taeyeon, who was backing him.

“Behind you!”

Taeyeon quickly turned, just in time when the man was about to hit his head with the beer bottle.

He had no time to avoid it so he just dodged it with his bare right arm. Due to the smash, the bottle crushed and its pieces immediately pierced his arm.

“Argh!” Taeyeon groaned in pain as fresh red blood started coloring his arm.

The drunken man saw this as a golden opportunity to get rid of the young man.

He launched a hard fist to Taeyeon’s cheek, making more blood spilled out of his mouth. Taeyeon was going to counter his attack, but the stinging pain in his arm totally weakened him. The man dodged his feeble punch with ease before giving him another hit on the face.

And with no hesitance, the man mercilessly elbowed the back of his neck.

Everything became dark for Taeyeon as he ended up laying unconscious on the pavement ground.

“Little !” the man harshly cursed.“Go to hell—“ his leg was about to land on the wounded boy’s stomach when suddenly it was blocked by a thin, white leg; Tiffany’s. Being a blackbelt in Taekwondo she was, she easily kicked away his bulky leg.

The man looked up, only to meet the brunette girl’s fierce look, gritting her teeth, as her eyes flared with anger. Giving him no time to hurt her master further more, Tiffany stomped his stomach.

“ARGH--“

“Don’t,” she kicked his right leg.

“you,” continued to his left leg, making him unable to stand straight anymore as his legs totally went numb.

“dare,” she spun.

“--to hurt my master!” she gave a finishing blow by kicking him right on his face.

The drunken man –or the K.O man?- fell backwards, fainting in defeat.

His big body created a loud thud as he landed, awaking the sleeping security of the basement.

The young security jerked up from his sleep and clumsily held up his torch, quickly looked for the source of the noise.

When he found a girl kneeling beside a bleeding boy and a stumpy man fainted across them, he couldn’t help but become suspicious.

He beamed his torchlight to the brunette girl, who was the only one that seemed conscious at the moment.

“What just happened here?” he asked, full of suspicion.

Tiffany on the other hand, didn’t want to complicate things even more. The ridiculous gummy thingy, her wounded master, and a little fight were already enough to fill the day.

So in order to get out of the place as soon as possible, she decided to tell a little lie.

“That drunken man beated up my boyfriend. Please arrest him, sir.”

“Sure, miss.”

“Thank you, sir.” she smiled sweetly as she wrapped one of Taeyeon’s arm around her shoulder and supported him to make a way to the limo. “Excuse us—“

“Wait, as a witness you have to come with me to the police station to give  more detailed informations, miss.“

Feeling rather annoyed as the security was more persistent than she thought, Tiffany raised her acting level.

“But sir, my boyfriend is terribly injured..” she faked a sob. “Please just let us go, I need to take care of him now.” she pleaded as she let out a miserable cry.

The security’s heart weakened as he saw her irresistable puppy eyes with fresh tears flowing from them.  It was fake, indeed. At this point she might deserve an award for her impressive acting skill.

But as much as he felt sorry for the girl, a duty was a duty.

He cleared his throat. “Please come with me first, miss. I’ll be needing an accurate information before arresting the man.”    

Tiffany lost her patience at him. As much as she wanted to just shut his mouth up by maybe giving him a little blow on the face, she couldn’t. That would just freaking prolong the trouble.

“We’re innocent, sir. Just let us go, for heaven’s sake.”

“But miss—“

She blew her bang as she let out an audible huff. “CAN’T YOU SEE THAT MY BOYFRIEND IS BLEEDING BADLY?!” she snapped.

The security was obviously startled with her sudden outburst as he took some steps back. “Y-yes, ma’am.”

“Good. Now excuse me, he’s going to die soon if you keep us here any longer.”

With no other word she left the security, walking to the limo with a bit struggle as she supported the unconscious Taeyeon on her shoulders.

“Oof,” she positioned Taeyeon on the front seat beside the driver’s, before positioning herself and started the engine. Soon she drove the limo out of the place.

Meanwhile the security was still on his spot, dumbfounded as he observed the fainted man. He furrowed his eyebrows as a question struck his mind.

“If he beated up her boyfriend..” he mumbled as he put a handcuff on the man’s wrists.

“Who beated him up..?”

On the way back to the mansion, Tiffany stepped on the brake when the red colour of the traffic light was on. It was still 60 seconds before it would change to green light.

She sighed as she looked at her injured master.  “Aigu, he’s seriously bleeding badly..” she mumbled as she touched his cold cheek. She felt really sorry for him. There was a good silence for the last 60 seconds. All she could hear inside the limo was Taeyeon’s steady, soft breathing.

“But wait.. ‘My boyfriend’ ?” she questioned to herself.

The green light was finally on, so she stepped on the pedal and the limo immediately dashed off.

“..Why didn’t I say that he was just my little brother?”
