Was yesterday just a dream? That was the first thing Hae Rin thought when she opened her eyes that morning. She was scared that maybe the kiss from yesterday was just a dream and wanted to go back to sleep to continue dreaming the same dream.

She was just about to close her eyes when a pair of soft lips touched her forehead. She quickly opened her eyes and the first thing that she saw was L.Joe. They stared at each other’s eyes for a moment and she couldn’t help but get lost in them. L.joe smiled not breaking their gaze, “Good morning princess.”

She quickly blushed realizing that the kiss really happened and it wasn’t just her mind playing games with her. She then grabbed the pillow beside her and hid her now tomato face.

“Someone’s blushing.” He teased.

“I am not.” Hae Rin muttered and pushed L.Joe away from her as she got up.

He followed her and hugged her from the back. “Why are you suddenly mad?”

“Who said that I’m mad?” She asked as she turned to face him.

He smiled and finally let go of her, “We’re going somewhere.”

“Where to?”

“To go and meet my friends, so that I can brag my girlfriend to them.” He grinned and Hae Rin couldn’t help but smile.

She liked the sound of that, girlfriend, L.Joe’s girlfriend.

They were there sitting on the car, driving their way to meet up with the rest of the gang. Hae Rin was smiling all throughout the ride. L.Joe was glancing at her and also smiled as he saw the smile that never left her girlfriend’s face.

He used his free hand and interlocked their fingers.

When they arrived in Chunji’s house, Hae Rin let go of his hand but L.Joe looked at her and grabbed her hand back. As soon as they went in, all the boys went crazy.

“Yah! Byunghun hyung! Why are you holding Hae Rin’s hand?” Changjo asked as he saw the two.

“Don’t tell me the two of you are-” Niel started and placed his hand on his lips like a girl.

“Calm down guys.” L.Joe sighed as he looked at his ridiculous friends pathetically and Hae Rin just chuckled at them.

“Are you guys dating?!?” Changjo asked as he abruptly stood up.

“Guys, I would like to announce to you that Hae Rin is officially my girlfriend.” L.Joe said as he looked at her with a smile on his face while Hae Rin just bit her bottom lip and looked down at her feet.

“Yah hyung! How can you do this to me? You know that I like Hae Rin right?” Changjo pouted and sat back down on his seat.

Niel went up to them and looked at L.Joe, “You can let go of her now, we’re not going to kidnap her or something so don’t worry.”

L.Joe let go of her hand and Niel dragged Hae Rin to the couch and asked her more like investigated her on how L.Joe asked her out or if they have kissed already. Hae Rin automatically blushed as Niel brought up that part and he started teasing her.

As the two were talking, CAP went to L.Joe. “I’m happy for you man. But what are you going to do with Sae Yoon?” CAP asked and L.Joe didn’t say anything.

“Does Hae Rin know about Sae Yoon?” He asked and L.Joe just shook his head.

“Now that you know who you really like, just figure out how you’re going to tell Sae Yoon about this.” CAP gave his dongsaeng a pat in the back and left.

L.Joe looked back and saw Hae Rin laughing with the others.

“Byunghun.” Someone called from behind him.

He turned around and saw Chunji with a serious look on his face, “What’s up?”

“Did you break up with Sae Yoon already? Did you guys end it already?” He asked.

“Can you really do this to her without even ending things with her?” He continued.

“Byunghun ah, you better not have any girl replacing me when I’m not around!” She warned.

“Of course not. You’re my one and only girl, what are you saying?” He smiled as he held her hand.

“Promise me you’ll wait for me okay?” She asked as she turned to look at him.

“Of course. I promise. But you better promise me that you’ll contact me everyday.” He said.

“Every hour if you want to.” She giggled. “I’m going to really miss you.”

“Why do you have to leave? But you know, you don’t have to. You can just stay here with me.” He said.

“Don’t worry, it’s just for a year anyway. I’ll be back by then.”

“You better get some sleep, your flight tomorrow is early.” He said as he grabbed the blanket and placed it on her.

He hugged her as she snuggled into his arms, “I love you oppa.”

He wrapped his arms around her and she finally went to sleep.

L.Joe looked at his girlfriend, who’s sleeping peacefully at his arms. He smiled and kissed her forehead. “I love you too Sae Yoon ah.”

“It’s been four years already Chanhee. She hasn’t called me ever since.” L.Joe said.

“But are you sure you’re already over her? Don’t tell me those three years that you’ve been with her were nothing.”

“I don’t like her anymore okay?” L.Joe told him.

“Sae yoon wo-”

“Hey, I’ll be cooking you guys lunch, are you craving for something?” Hae Rin asked the two.

“Should I help you cook?” Chunji asked.

Hae Rin declined his offer but he insisted so she finally agreed.

As the two went to the kitchen, Chunji was quiet, which she finds weird because he is usually talkative.

“Is there something wrong oppa?” She asked as she grabbed the apron by the door.

“Ani, why do you ask?” He asked as he washed his hands in the sink.

“I just feel that something’s up with you and Byunghun. The way that you two were talking earlier.. was you know... It felt like you two are mad at each other.” She explained.

“We’re good.” He stated and started preparing the ingredients.

Hae Rin knew that something was up but she didn’t push him to say anymore. She went beside Chunji and started cooking.

Just then she remembered something, “By the way Chunji, remember when we went to the amusement park and was at the restaurant, weren’t you going to tell me about something?” She asked.

“Oh. I forgot. But I think it’s nothing important.” Chunji reassured her.

Hae Rin just nodded her head and continued cooking while Chunji just continued looking at her.

Chunji lied. He didn’t forget what he was about to say that day. It was about her father. Her father is looking for her. He knows about Hae Rin’s past since she told him about it. And he knew that he had to tell her about this but he forced himself not to.

“Oppa, aren’t you going to help? Are you just going to stare at me like that?” Hae Rin asked.

She chuckled when Chunji dropped the pot that he was holding to the sink. Chunji just rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled at his clumsiness.
