“Joohyun immo palli palli!!!”  Nana’s face was already turning red as she pulled her immo out from their guest room. She was way too excited to show her kicks so the faster her immo eats, the faster she’ll get to show her kicks.

“Okay let’s go!” she answered the child in a sing song manner, she was about to turn to the living when she bumped into someone

“I’m sorry!”

“Sorry!”

Both apologizing at the same time

“Sorry about that Nana was pulling me” Joohyun explained

“It’s okay, I was too lost looking for the bathroom”

“Oh straight ahead second door” pointing at the well-lit corridor.

“Thank you Joohyunssi”

“No worries Yonghwassi, it’s Yonghwassi right? Yoona’s boss?”

“Yes, that’s right” he smiled back

They stood there for a good 5 seconds until Nana broke the silence “Immo!!”

Joohyun laughed “Right!” remembering the impatient frowning child who look exactly like her father.

“Nana, stop pestering your immo, she’s tired from work” her dad reminded her

The little girl pursed her lips and looked down while making invisible circles with her feet “she promised”

“I know ddal but you got to ler her eat and rest so she can watch you or else she’ll fall asleep while doing so”

Joohyun watched as she sat at the counter with her food “Hey Nana, how bout you and I eat first then after show me your kicks and I heard you got a new belt as well”

Nahyun’s face lit up and grab her own plate taking food and sat down next to Joohyun eating her dinner with much gusto.

“Yah Hyunnie, why don’t you sit there with everyone?” Jonghyun asked

“It’s okay, let them have their time, besides, I just crashed here so I don’t want to imply”

“See Joohyun adulthood is doing bad things to your head, I swear you better take your vacation days soon or I’ll kick you out of the office myself”

Joohyun gloated “Ha! As if you can!”

“Try me Seo Joohyun”

She stuck her tongue out and began munching again

Nana was full of giggles as she watched her dad and immo bantering front of her like little kids in her play school. When they were done eating, Yoona finally convinced Nana to show everyone her kicks instead of just her Joohyun immo with the reason that everyone is looking forward to it but secretly she felt bad for having Joohyun get stuck with her daughter.

While drinking coffee, they all gathered in the living room clapping as Nana began showing her kicks. Everyone clapped as she finishes with a big grin.

“Nahyunie, go check immo’s hand bag I think there’s a little surprise for you there” she winked as the young one jumped excitedly running back to the guest room.

30 seconds after they heard a squeal “MINIONS!!!”

“Gomawoyo immo!” Nana ran back to Joohyun hugging her in the process

“You’re welcome, get you next belt and there maybe another surprise for you”

They looked at the little girl as she disappeared through the corridors probably back in the guest room

“You do know she’ll be sleeping there tonight?” Yoona spoke

“When did she never?” Jonghyun answered his wife. He then looked at Yoonas guest, “Nana has been really close with Joohyun since day 1, it was her who actually cut the umbilical cord as I was stuck in Jeju because of a storm. “

“She looks at her immo as if she is god or something”

“Stop it!” Joohyun smiled in embarrassment

“By the way Donghaeya, you’re single right? Coz Joohyun here is single too”

“Shut up Im Yoona!” she elbowed her friend

“What? I’m just staing facts here, not doing anything aside form that”

“Heol you’re unbelievable!” she pinched her friends face as she excused herself to the kitchen.

While she was cleaning the table

“Excuse me, uhm where can I get water?”

She looked behind her to see Yonghwa holding an empty glass.

“Sure, here”

She got the water from the fridge and placed it on the table

She finds Yoona’s boss very reserve and quiet. Serious for that matter, she wonders how can he work with Yoona and the others who seems to be a big ball of nucleus energy.
