How well do you know BTS?

BTS are very well known, more than half of our participants know BTS well!

The Grading System

We give the answers different grades, depending on how well people know them:

• 3 = well
• 2 = okay
• 1 = only a little
• 0 = not at all

Then we can look at how well different fans know them. 3 means that everyone knows them well and 0 not at all. If people on average know them "Okay" the grade is 2, and if on average "Only a Little" it's 1.

BTS are well known among people of all K-pop ages!

They are especially well known among newer K-pop fans, those who started in K-pop in the past few years.

Among our participants, BTS are best known in Australia, N-America and Europe.

BTS as a Favorite Band

Now we will look at the fans who listed BTS among their favorite bands!

We show our results for different regions (genders and ages) where for each region the portion of participants that chose BTS as their favorite is shown. For example, we look at all fans from Australia and see how big a percentage of Australians lists BTS as a favorite band. Then we do the same for people from other regions, and also for different genders and ages.

BTS seem especially favored by Australians, Africans and N-Americans, where 60% or more list them as one of their favorite bands!

A particularly large proportion of people with secret or other gender are BTS fans.

The distribution of BTS as a favorite band by age shows a peculiar and funny shape, where they have a very high percentage of fans among the youngest and oldest of our participants.
