How well do you know Beast/Highlight?

The Grading System

We gave the answers different grades, depending on how well people know them:

• 3 = well
• 2 = okay
• 1 = only a little
• 0 = not at all

Then we can look at how well different fans know them. 3 means that everyone knows them well and 0 not at all. If people on average know them "Okay" the grade is 2, and if on average "Only a Little" it's 1.

Beast/Highlight as a Favorite Band

Now we will look at the fans who listed Beast/Highlight among their favorite bands!

We show our results for different regions, genders and ages, where for each region, the portion of participants that chose Beast/Highlight as their favorite is shown. For example, we look at all fans from Australia and see how big a percentage of Australians lists Beast/Highlight as a favorite group. Then we do the same for people from other regions, and different genders and ages.

It appears that Australians and North Americans have the highest proportion of participants who list Beast/Highlight among their favorites.

It is no surprise that Beast/Highlight is popular among the girls, but what is more mysterious is that those who chose to keep their gender a secret have the highest proportion of participants with Beast/Highlight as favorite!

This is a very unusual distribution! Beast/Highlight are most popular with participants aged 19-25 and 36 and older, but less so with other age groups, and we have no idea why.
