How well do you know 2PM?

Our participants seem fairly balanced between all categories, but more than one third know 2PM 'Well' or 'Okay'.

The Grading System

We give the answers different grades, depending on how well people know them:

• 3 = well
• 2 = okay
• 1 = only a little
• 0 = not at all

Then we can look at how well different fans know them. 3 means that everyone knows them well and 0 not at all. If people on average know them "Okay" the grade is 2, and if on average "Only a Little" it's 1.

2PM are fairly well known among people who have been into K-pop for a long time, but less among newer fans. As 2PM have not been very active in Korea over the last couple of years this is understandable.

2PM are best known among participants in Africa, E-Asia, and N-America, but least known among European fans. 

2PM as a Favorite Band

Now we will look at the fans who listed 2PM among their favorite bands!

We show our results for different regions (genders and ages) where for each region the portion of participants that chose 2PM as their favorite is shown. For example, we look at all fans from Australia and see how big a percentage of Australians lists 2PM as a favorite band. Then we do the same for people from other regions, and also for different genders and ages.

A pretty high percentage of fans in Africa count 2PM among their favortie bands! But they are also doing quite well in N- and S-America.

With their beastly image, 2PM has always been relatively popular among males. And apparently also among people who didn't reveal their gender (who are possibly also more likely to be male). 

2PM seem to be especially popular in the age group 26-35 years old, and among people who don't reveal their age.
