How well do you know VIXX?

Around 70% of our participants are familiar with VIXX, around one third knows them well, and another one third knows them moderately well.

The Grading System

We gave the answers different grades, depending on how well people know them:

• 3 = well
• 2 = okay
• 1 = only a little
• 0 = not at all

Then we can look at how well different fans know them. 3 means that everyone knows them well and 0 not at all. If people on average know them "Okay" the grade is 2, and if on average "Only a Little" it's 1.

VIXX are quite well known among our participants, especially those that have been in K-pop since 2015 or longer.

VIXX are best known in North America, Europe and Australia.

We want to point out that how well VIXX are known is very similar to how well B.A.P are known! An interesting discovery!

Both the trends with K-pop age, and by regions are very similar between these two bands!

We suspect this similarity is related to the fact that both of them debuted in 2012. But even though BtoB and EXO also debuted in 2012, their trends are more different. Perhaps there is some other hidden reason behind this!

VIXX as a Favorite Band

Now we will look at the fans who listed VIXX among their favorite bands!

We show our results for different regions, genders and ages, where for each region, the portion of participants that chose VIXX as their favorite is shown. For example, we look at all fans from Australia and see how big a percentage of Australians lists VIXX as a favorite group. Then we do the same for people from other regions, and different genders and ages.

More than 40% of our North American participants consider VIXX as one of their favorite bands! But VIXX are also favored by many South Americans and Europeans.

VIXX seem to appeal similarly to all genders!

Yes! We double checked and the trend really is remarkably straight over most of the age groups, while our participants of secret ages favor VIXX a lot!
