Baekhyun’s pacing frantically at the hospital wing. This is what he fears for Luhan and Kyungsoo to be injured because of Quidditch. Luhan usually laughs at him because he is over reacting and paranoid but who can blame him? He read some of the newspapers and even books about Quidditch that some members had serious injuries. Luhan had injuries of course every Interhouse Quidditch tournament, but he usually broke his arm unlike what happened earlier that there is a blood oozing on his head. 

Sehun’s infront of them, carrying an injured Luhan. Baekhyun can’t remember what happened exactly. All he knew was Sehun suddenly casting a hex against that upper year Slytherin while they are watching Gryffindor’s Quidditch practice. For 3 years that he knew Sehun, that was out of his character to suddenly attack a student without any reason. The last time that Sehun attacked a student was when someone played a prank to Luhan and the latter ended up on Hospital wing. It was Jongdae who played prank to Luhan by making him eat sweets (Luhan’s fond of sweets so he can’t resist it) and when he ate it, he vanished and found himself in the Black lake. Luhan doesn’t know how to swim and Sehun knows this vital information. Jongdae ended up in another bed of the hospital wing and Sehun still wreaking havoc for the faculties and headmaster being irresponsible. And it reached to the point that he wrote to his father, Lord Oh which is the current chairman of Hogwarts Board of Governors on what happened and requested as heir of the Oh House to make someone pay for endangering the life of another heir which is Luhan. That’s when Baekhyun realized that Sehun likes Luhan, no, it could be more than that. Jongdae learned his lesson after that and did everything what Sehun wanted such as pranking those who flirted with Luhan and drooling over Luhan. 

Baekhyun looks helplessly at his friend in the bed. Sehun almost didn’t let them near Luhan and still on his rigid and alert posture, as if anytime, someone will attack Luhan again. His mind wandered back on what happened next on the Quidditch pitch. He finds himself watching Luhan falling from his broomstick caused by a bludger and Baekhyun wants to beat himself for not doing something. He is so freaking stupid for freezing as he saw his first friend, his bestfriend falling from his broomstick. He is really thankful to Sehun for his quick instinct to cast a Hover charm.

Luhan’s already unconscious when he was encased in Sehun’s arms and that made the latter spat threats after threats. If Chanyeol didn’t reminded him that Luhan’s needed to be healed, he will not stop throwing threats to Gryffindor team. 

A warm hand holds his which snaps him from his reverie. “Luhan will be fine. He will not like it that you are crying for him.” Chanyeol’s deep voice calms him for awhile. He didn’t realized that he’s already crying. And Chanyeol’s right, Luhan will not like it if he is crying. He scans the crowd which are composed of their circle of friends from different Houses and finds Kyungsoo in Jongin’s arms, his face planted on the latter’s chest. Baekhyun guessed that Kyungsoo’s also crying and Jongin seized the moment to comfort him. If Luhan’s not in this suffocating room, maybe Baekhyun will also seize the opportunity to flirt at Chanyeol but he can’t for now.

“Mr. Xi is not allowed to be exposed on different magical aura. You can visit him separately later. What he needs now is the magical aura of his most compatible pair,” says the Hogwarts Mediwitch, Eunjung. She looks at Sehun meaningfully especially when she said compatible pair. The silver haired Slytherin glares at the mediwitch. Only Sehun has the guts to glare at Madam Eunjung. 

“Mr. Oh will be guarding Mr.Xi for now, and I called his parents to have his fast recovery.”

Baekhyun remembered that this also happened on that prank performed by Jongdae against Luhan when they were in second year. They are not allowed to be with Luhan and have Sehun instead. So Sehun is Luhan’s compatible pair? How? Luhan ‘hates’ Sehun to the core (though Baekhyun as well as Kyungsoo suspects that their friend also likes Sehun).

He was pulled outside of the hospital wing by Chanyeol, leaving Luhan on Sehun’s care. Kyungsoo, who also holds Jongin’s hand usher them to the seventh floor where the room of requirements can be found. Yixing on the other hand casted a notice-me-not charm to avoid suspicions and gossips about them. It would be really suspicious if ten of them are all going to the seventh floor, knowing that Luhan’s in the hospital wing. Though it is common to see a large group of friend from different Houses but the twelve of them, including Luhan and Sehun are quite famous in Hogwarts for being brilliant and smart students (and well, Sehun’s a metamorphmagus, a very unique ability and Luhan’s a part veela which is not unique in Beauxbatons School of Magic but Luhan’s the only one here in Hogwarts). Knowing Hogwarts gossip system, Baekhyun’s sure that everyone already knows what happened to the pitch earlier. 

They stopped infront of the tapestry of Barnabas the barmy, who’s teaching the trolls to ballet. It was a little bit disturbing to see trolls wearing tutus. Kyungsoo’s pacing three times infront of the tapestry until a highly polished door appeared in the wall. Kris reached out, seized the brass handle and pulled open the door. He dragged Tao with him and led the way into a spacious room with flickering torches. 

Baekhyun flushed when he realized that Chanyeol’s still holding his hand. He will not wash his left hand or is there a preserving charm to preserve Chanyeol’s touch on him? He wants to slap himself for thinking that. He should be thinking about Luhan and what will Sehun do this time.

“What the hell happened earlier? Sehun’s not the type to impulsively hex someone,” asked Kyungsoo, who’s still in his Quidditch attire.

“Well, that douchebag kept on commenting lewd and vile statements about Luhan. We know Sehun, you can say foul words about him but when it involves Luhan, he will surely flip the wizarding world.” Jongin answered, his left eye twitching. Due to Luhan’s blood, most of his friends are too protective of him, especially Kyungsoo and Baekhyun who act as a mother hen to Luhan.

“I am going to kill that sonofa.” Minseok growled, his usual cute feature turns into an ugly scowl. He stood and was about to go out of the room when Jongdae pulled him and let him seat on his lap. 

“We can have our revenge later. A well planned prank is better and Sehun will not let that go. I’ve learned that in hard way.” Jongdae said with evil glint in his eyes. Baekhyun assumes that Jongdae remembered what happened to him when he pranked Luhan. 

“What is the name of that ?” Yixing suddenly asked, which shocked everyone because Yixing never says bad words. 

“That’s Kim Hong Bin, belongs to the third branch of House of Kim,” says Tao. “If you will ask me how I knew, I just read it to the books that Yifan lend me.” 

“You already know what to do Jongin.” Yixing said in a hard tone. Jongin is the current heir of the House of Kim. Joonmyeon and Jongdae are both purebloods, Minseok as a halfblood, also belong to the said House are secondary branch, which means that they are more powerful than that scum.

“Sehun has a bigger reason to crush that disgusting scum. I can’t believe that freaking vermin sent a betrothal contract to the Xi for Luhan last year.” Yixing continued to spout nonsense. Well, it’s nonsense for Baekhyun because he’s not aware of the implication of marriage contracts. And how the hell Yixing knew that information? Baekhyun and Kyungsoo are in the same house with Luhan but they are not aware of this.

“So that’s why Sehun wanted to beat the out of that bastard last year,” says Kris.

“My father didn’t approve that contract! How dare that bastard try to overpower the main branch? I’m going to write father about this.” Jongin says, seething with anger.
