Yoo Jeongyeon lived a pretty normal life. She grew up with both her parents and her two older sisters.

After hearing that her older sister Seungyeon made it into sm entertainment and began training to debut in a girl group she knew what she wanted to do but sadly she was too young at the time and had to wait before auditioning for JYP entertainment.

Sadly she failed the audition a couple of times before making it in and that's where she met Lena, Cecelia, Jisoo, Nayeon and Minyoung. She also met foreign trainees but rarely talk to them due to the language barrier for her first year until they could understand each other.
