June 30th 10 AM

She took a sip of her Latte and put the small cup back on the table immersing herself in the description of the assignment. She was trying to be optimistic and not remind herself how she hated the fact that she need to do this with someone else. She simply hated anything that had something to do with other people and him being gone for a while now wasn’t helping her either to look at other people in a very optimistic way.

She just found it extremely comfortable to not to engage herself with other people but well when you decide to be an active part of society you don’t really have a choice but to be social. She looked at the last line of the page and realized she had no idea what she was reading for the past 10 minutes because she was dozing off.

Her thoughts however was cut off by someone sitting across her and immediately starting to talk:

-“Sorry I’m late. I slept in.”

-“That’s alright.” She whispered barely hearing herself.

-“Have you had a look at requirements? I had a look last night and I came up with a plan.”

He then handed her a printed page with an organized chart almost mocking her for what she was doing a few minutes ago. She looked over the plan and she sighed very quietly envying the guy who she barely even knew his name for being able to have his life together and be so organized. her thoughts were cut off by his voice again:

- “So what do you think? Would you like to add anything?”

- “No I mean it looks really good.” Not being able to comment any further because her thoughts were taking her to the imaginary court to judge her for being such an incompetent human being.

“he probably thinks I’m dumb and is really annoyed by me right now” she heard her thoughts blaming her for existing. She shut her eyes tightly trying to overcome the judgemental statement. she wasn’t planning to lose the battle so quickly so she started talking again:

-” I … guess I need to do the introductory research which is not really hard. But are you sure you’re fine with the interviewing the expert. How are you going to find a mental health expert to interview? Do you want help with that?”

He looked at her and cleared his throat before looking away taking a sip of his coffee and quietly said:

-” There is someone I know so it shouldn’t be too hard. I can help you with the research part as well. Let me know If you need help.”

She smiled envying him again for reason she didn’t want to mentally go through so she shut her thoughts once again and smiled back:

-“Thanks. So, I guess we’re good for now.”

-“Do you want to go to library and start the research now?”

She looked up at him a bit surprised mentally replying to her thoughts: “So I’m not that annoying after all” and feeling the taste of victory. She nodded her head and started packing her papers back into her folder.

Jungkook looked at his phone waiting for her to finish packing up until he stumbled upon a text in Bangtan group chat.

Yoongi Hyung- “Im gonna leave If you guys are not coming.”

Yoongi Hyung -  “You f**kers need to let me know if you’re not gonna show up.”

He then mentally slapped himself for forgetting and stood up from his seat immediately. She looked up at him confused:

-“Is everything alright?”

-“I’m sorry , I need to be somewhere and I completely forgot. I’ll call you later and we can meet up in the next couple of days. I’m really sorry yeah?”

She looked at him emotionless and still a bit confused but then she smiled:

-“Its alright. We still have plenty of time. You go now. See you later”

He looked at her hesitating and smiling apologetically and then he turned back and left the Café.

She looked at his figure disappearing and as he left the place she heard her thoughts mocking her as they were dragging her back into her “Trial” for judgement.

June 30th 12:00 PM

She sat down on the cold bus station seat looking at her phone waiting for the bus. He then tilted her head towards the empty seat beside her trying to remember his face with all her effort. It then all came back to her
