She looks down on her colored hands … the smell of  iodoform the only thing keeping her mind straight and making her remember where she is … She feels someone's hand on her shoulder and looks up tears already waitting to be released from the prison of her eyes

"are you alright?
"Unnie .… I … He … "  she opens trying to make her way through the sentence only to start sobbing as the older girl hugs her

"Its alright … everything is under control now … don’t worry"

She just sobs soundlessly in her embrace. The older girl pats her shoulder trying to calm her and she keeps crying

"What happened? How did you find him like that?

"I went to Hoseok Ssi's house to talk to him … I heard him in the shower but I just … I … if I went in earlier … this wouldn’t …Oh my god … I almost …"

She panics as the thoughts keep bombarding her with guilt. The older girl grabs her hand and hold it tightly

"Look at me Han Byul"

She cant hear what she says so she just shakes her head in distract

"I almost … he … he was about to … this is all my fault"

"Han Byul look at me … right now"

She looks up at her a bit shocked as the older girl looks at her directly in eyes

"This was not your fault … You’ve done enough … you’ve done all you could … now we have to wait and let him handle the rest … so stop blaming yourself"

She looks down nodding as another tear rolled down her cheek

They both stand up from their seat as the doctor comes out from his room

"Are you Park Jimin's guardian?"

The older girl quickly takes out a card "My name is Dr. Yoon. I'm a psychiatrist working with Park Jimin Ssi. You can talk to me"

"He lost a lot of blood but his condition is now under control … He has injured his femoral artery … We are suspicious of self harm as there seem to be previous history to it so we will have to discuss his mental health diagnosis when he is conscious … You can visit him in a few hours"

Byul sighs in relief finally able to breath with ease. He's alive … he is breathing …

Dr. Yoon bows and thanks the doctor and grabs Byul's hand

"Lets go get you cleaned up …"

"Unnie … I … I want to stay here until he wakes up … I'll go when he wakes up"

"Han Byul … Im a doctor … trust me … he will wake up and seeing you like this wont help him feel any better … you have to clean up before visiting him"

"I … Im not gonna visit him … I'll just wait till he wakes up and I'll leave"

Dr. Yoon sighed grabbing her hand pulling her with her to the exit

"You'll visit him and make him thank you for saving his life … youre not running away … not under my supervision"

"But … Unnie …"

Dr.Yoon Hissed and she just nodded obediently following the older girl to her car.

He runs through the hallway of hospital to the main reception

“I … I wanted to see a patient who was admitted today …”

“Are you any of their family members …”

“Im not … im her friend … I need to known-if she’s alright  “

“Sorry sir we cant disclose patient information to non family menbers …”

A frustrated tear rolls down his cheek as he pants looking around

“P…please … I just need to know if she’s fine … her name is Byul .. Han Byul …”

The nurse parts her lips to refuse when he turns back seeing someone behind him

“Are you looking for Byul?”

He looks at the middle aged lady who is looking at him with concerned eyes and nods

“Do you know where she is? Is she fine? Please … Im her friend …”

The old lady carefully watches his flustered please before muttering

“Follow me …”

Jimin carefully follows the lady gasping for air as he ask

“Is she alive? Is she fine?”

“She’s fine … someone found her and brought her to Emergency department on time … “

Jimin exhales the air out as he quickly walks behind the lady finally stopping in front of a room with a small glass window opening to it. His eyes travels to the girl who is laying on the bed unconscious , her left hand bandaged with white dressing which are colored with blood and he gulps on his saliva …

“D…did she … did she …”

“It startes from a week ago … she was really uneasy … yesterday a letter came to our house and that was what shattered her …” the old lady muttered looking at him ”were you close to her?”

“I … I … usually mentored her …” he gulps nervously as the lady whispered

“Do you know if there was any problems in school? She received a letter from court … When I checked it , she was sued for defamation … do you know anything about this?”

He looked at the older lady
