Ana ran to the front door and opened it.

Jo was holding two Starbucks drinks in her hands and had a big smile on her face

“One Peach Green Tea Lemonade for my best friend.” Jo handed her the drink and gave her a hug. Ana grabbed the cupcakes before going to the living room.

They both walked to Ana’s living room and sat down. Jo grabbed a cupcake and ate it. She groaned in satisfaction at the taste.

“So what was your question?” She away frosting from the corner of her lip.

“When I was at his house, Liam asked me if I was single. What does that mean?” Ana grabbed one of her cupcakes and bit it.

“That he wanted to know your relationship status.”

“I am taken.”

“Mentally. By, and I quote, a ing .”

Ana groaned and threw her head back in frustration. “Why?”

Jo sighed. “He texted me by the way. He feels horrible.” She told her.

“He should! I don’t get why people can’t just love each other!”

Jo rolled her eyes and sipped her drink. “Not everybody’s you, Ana.” She said. “You can’t tell me that you’ve never hated anybody.”

Ana pursed her lips. “Okay, fine. You win this one.”

“Okay, really, you wouldn’t care if this happened with anyone else. The only reason you’re upset about it is because it’s Yoongi that showed you a part of him you didn’t know existed.”

“Okay, but, that doesn’t give him a reason to try and hurt his brother.”

“Step-brother.” Jo corrected her. “You don’t know what he’s been through. Maybe there’s more to it than what he told you, Ana.”

Ana didn’t think about that.

And Jo was right.

The only reason why she was upset about this whole thing was because it was Yoongi who did it. She didn’t like seeing this side of him. It was new, and Ana wasn’t a big fan of new.

She didn’t like seeing the person she was head over heels for angry, furious, or vicious. At all. It hurt her. And not only that, but it made her angry as well.

Not just at him, but the person who made him get that way too.

And maybe Liam was a jerk too for making him angry.

“What’re you thinking?”

Ana shrugged. “That you’re maybe… probably right.” She huffed out. “I’m still upset though.”

“It’s okay, I can kind of understand from both perspectives. You, because you lost two important people. Him, because he had to adapt to changes that he didn’t like.”
