Tiffany's fine~ Don't worry. I wouldn't do anything TOO bad to her, we all love Taeny after all. Thanks for all the comments! I really appreciate the support (: You guys are great. So here, the longest chapter so far!

Currently, the team was splayed out in the living room, with Tiffany laid out on the couch. Taeyeon was sitting on the floor crossed legged on Tiffany’s left, facing Tiffany and holding one of Tiffany’s hands while Sooyoung has her head rested against the couch at Tiffany’s legs. Yoona and Yuri sat on the other side of the couch , with Yoona leaning her head on Yuri’s shoulders as they took are of Tiffany. Sunny sat at the foot of the couch while Hyoyeon and Seohyun sat a little behind Sooyoung .

They all couldn’t take their eyes off Tiffany, afraid that something might happen. The air was tense, depressing and no one dared to say a word. They had successfully forced her heart to slow down and beat at a more normal rate but the drugs were still in her system. And with every cry, every scream, every moan and every murmur  that comes out of Tiffany’s mouth, Taeyeon feel’s it like a stab in her heart. Her poor fany. She’s been through so much. Taeyeon could only her hair gently hoping to calm her down when Tiffany’s cries resonate throughout the room.

While Tiffany remains unconscious, her face was often scrunched up as if she was in pain. At times, her back arched desperately as she thrashed on the couch as if she was in extreme pain and being burned alive and the members had to forcefully hold her down to make sure she doesn’t hurt herself and the people around them. At times, tears started rolling down her face as she murmured things related to the past and sometimes, it was as if her worst nightmares came back to haunt her. It seemed like Tiffany was reliving her worst memories that the team knew nothing about and could not do anything to wake her up from them.

“Eomma…”

“Please….”

“Eomma….” This made the hearts of the team break into pieces. They knew that her mother had passed away, it was something that they didn’t talk about much because it was a sore spot for Tiffany. But to hear Tiffany crying out for her mother broke their hearts, they had never seen her so vulnerable before.

“Don’t leave, stay with me please”

“Khun…. Khun!”

“Please please no no no! Help me help help!! PLEASE DON’T DO THIS ! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!”

“KHUN HELP!!”

“GET AWAY FROM ME!”

“You’re a monster”

Taeyeon didn’t know what to do. Tiffany was screaming and crying for help, stuck in her endless nightmares that she couldn’t wake up from. Every hush and every did nothing to help. Tiffany was stuck by herself in this drugged dream world where no one could enter. She felt… helpless. And she hated herself.

By her side, Sooyoung wasn’t doing any better. With every cry she hears from Tiffany, it adds to the guilt she already feels in her heart. If only I was more capable, Fany wouldn’t be in this state. Eomma would be disappointed with me for not taking better care of her. She faulted herself, blaming herself for letting this happen, blaming herself for not being able to take away some of the pain for Tiffany.

“Hey” she heard. A different voice in the room other than Tiffany. It was Taeyeon, who was staring right at her. “Stop it. You did good”

And with that sentence, it was like a water dam broke in her. Tears started flowing and she couldn’t stop crying. How could Taeyeon said that she did good? Look at Tiffany! But at the same time, she cried because she knew they didn’t blame her for anything. Still, she couldn’t help hating herself for not being blamed for it.

“How could you say that! Look at her!” Sooyoung told Taeyeon, unable to hold back her tears.

“This could have  been you too”

“I rather it was me!”

“And then what? We will all still be the same. All sitting here worrying and panicking, and Tiffany would be the one feeling guilty as hell.  What’s the difference?”

“It makes a whole load of difference! If it-“

“So many things could have happened. You two could have been shot dead on the spot, or caught in a gunfight, no one is able to predict what is going to happen next” Taeyeon interrupted Sooyoung.

“You did good Soo. You really did. You kept your calm many times when I couldn’t even do it while doing surveillance. You saved Tiffany from Kim’s clutches with your quick thinking and great acting. You played your role perfectly and so did Tiffany. Now stop blaming yourself. The only thing you can do and should do now is catch that son of a . You hear me?”

“I….”

“Unnie. You were amazing. I was wrong in thinking I could do underover. I would never be able to do what you and Fany unnie did.” Seohyu
