It was the first English class session, and you were pretty relieved that it was not as hard as you had imagined. The members were all really respectful and willing to learn. Of course they were being goofy part of the time, but you thought it was good thing they were making learning a language fun. You thought back to the time when you were learning Korean and Chinese and how much you struggled then. Although you spoke the basic forms with your parents at home, the more advanced forms were definitely a pain to master.

“Hobi hyung, down” V shouted at JHope who was trying to act out the roleplay situation from the textbook with Jungkook.

“Taehyung-ah, it’s pronounced ‘sit’” You correct him, while enunciating.

“Oh right, shorry” V says, making you facepalm. You watch as he stands up to take JHope’s spot and begins reciting the dialog.

“Excushe me, how do I get to the park prom here?” V says, acting out the girl role.

“Walk two blocks and take a left” Jungkook replies with near perfect accent. He was really impressing you with how quickly he was picking up the correct pronunciation. You could tell he was a quick learner and talented at more than just singing and dancing.

After running through the dialog, you decide to review some of the basics.

“So do you guys know how to say the months of the year?” You ask.

“July” Jungkook bursts out while looking at Rap Monster.

“Good, but let’s start with the first month.” You say while smiling encouragingly.

“Pardon?” Jungkook says, trying to make the members laugh. Him and the other members burst into laughter. You look at them slightly confused.

“He only knows July” Rap Monster explains between his laughter.

This is going to be a long day… you think to yourself.

After class was over, the boys invited you to eat lunch with them and to watch their dance practice later in the afternoon, and since you didn’t have class until the evening, you agreed.

You entered the lounge where they take breaks and eat their meals. There was a black leather sofa and a wooden coffee table. On the table there were bentos in bags with their names labeled on them. You notice that the manager even prepared a lunch for you. There was a TV in front of them and it was playing the DVD version of their concert.

“Wow, look at how cool our Kookie looks for ‘Not Today’” Jimin says while grabbing his lunch and hopping on the couch. “V too, look at him leading in the chorus part. fierce man, fierce.”

“The dance was really cool in general” JHope says staring at the TV while scooping a spoonful of rice into his mouth.

“It made life hard for me” Jin says while shaking his head.

The members start laughing. Once they’ve all sat down with their lunches, they realize that you were still standing by the door awkwardly. They look at the couch and notice that there was only enough room for 7 people. Unsure of what to do, you offer to just sit on the floor, but Jungkook quickly gets up and offers you his spot.

“Here noona, you can sit here” Jungkook, stands up and walks over to RapMon who was sitting at the other end of the couch and leans on the armrest there.

“Our Jungkookie has really grown up.” V comments. “He never gives up his spot, especially when he has food.”

Jungkook almost chokes on the food in his mouth. He quickly swallows and retorts “We’ve also never had a female other than our coordi noona in the lounge.”

“Guys, let’s not make her feel uncomfortable” Suga interrupts. “We need to hold back on some of the jokes when we have guests.”

“Min Suga is right” Rap Monster agrees.

They all go back to eating and you turn your attention back on to the TV screen. It was the performance of “Blood, Sweat, and Tears” now and you watched intensely at the part where they are all in a circle and fall to the floor. You couldn’t help but stare at the way Jungkook does a handstand and slowly lowers himself to the ground. Although you’ve already seen it several times, it was hard to believe he was so strong at such a young age. You secretly glance at Jungkook who was eating next to RapMon, right then he was so cute munching on his lettuce that you couldn’t believe the person on screen was the person right across from you now.

“Jin hyung, it’s like this” Jungkook says while correctly Jin as they were learning a new dance.

“Well, sorry I’m not talented at life like you are” Jin says frustrated. “I’m still recovering from the concert.”

“That was days ago” Jimin shouts from behind.

“His whole life is as awkward as his dancing” Jungkook jokes as he pulls another perfect move.

“Ah” Jin sighs. “What do I have to do to get some respect for once?”

“Perfect your dancing” V replies.

You watch as the boys argue and joke around during dance practice. Suddenly, the dance teacher turns off the music.

“Ok, practice is almost over, but in order for you guys to go home, you have to pass the random dance test.” The dance teacher says while taking a sip of water.

The boys groan.

“Ah, can’t you let us off easy this time?” Jin complains.

The dance teacher shakes his head and turns on Boy in Luv.

The boys get into formation, and you can’t help but notice how Jungkook’s face changes as he gets into dance mode. The song was really intense, and right before it got to the , the dance teacher changes the song to Fire, then I NEED U, then Dope, then Blood Sweat and Tears, and finally finishing off with the end of Save Me. The boys all kneel to the ground at the end, panting.

It was amazing see all these dances up close, and compared to the dance practice videos, the choreography was even more incredible in real life. They were all perfectly in sync, despite the dance teacher attempting to mess them up by changing the song so frequently. You could tell why fans say JHope is the best dancer because his moves are smooth and he adds his own little touches of style in them. Jimin really danced artistically, and although his moves where crisp, they flowed very nicely. You could tell he was very flexible, and couldn’t help but think he was y when he danced, in contrast to his squishy personality and small build.

But despite them all being attractive when they danced, you realized that the person you stared at the most was Jungkook. He was strong, and that showed up in his dance moves too. They were powerful, crisp, and sharp. The look in his eyes while he danced also added to the tension. It was like you were in a trance when you watched him dance, and for some strange reason it felt like he was looking at you while he danced.

When dance practice was over, the members all flopped to the ground exhausted. They must’ve forgotten you were still there because Jimin and Jungkook started to take their shirts off to change into dry ones.

“Stop” JHope shouted. Jimin and Jungkook look at him confused. JHope uses his eyes to signal that you were still in the room.

“Oh, sorry” Jimin says while looking over to you.

“I don’t think she minds,” Jungkook says with a slight smirk glancing at you, and proceeds to take off his shirt. You quickly turn around embarrassed. Did he really just do that? He’s not the innocent maknae everyone thinks he is. He’s definitely player status. You think to yourself surprised at his actions.

Rap Monster shakes his head silently with a smile. V just nods in the corner with his lips also curling into a smile.
