CH 8 - Jongwoon
KISMETHe tried looking for Choi Minho, his boyfriend's cousin. He hasn't thought about what lie he'll tell him but he just wants to get Siwon's phone number. Minho will definitely wonder why is is trying to get his cousin's number for sure. Maybe he'll think That Jongwoon is a stalker? What shall he do if ever?
The thing is he doesn't know much about the kid other than he is in 2nd grade and was in the basketball team. He doesn't know what department he was in. And this school is huge. He should just give up for this morning. Just like how he gave up yesterday after the whole incident. He'll try and look for Minho later during lunch or after club period. His next class will start soon.

The room assigned to the Vocal Arts Society was already with a number of people when he arrived. Taeyeon arrived shortly after him. After she opened the first meeting a rundown of their accomplishments the year before, she opened up the topic of presidency. Jongwoon felt surprised but truly elated when there was overwhelming assent for him being chosen as the person to lead the club. As a tradition, the choice of the current president is to be followed. It is only when the president doesn't have a choice of person, or that person declines, where the members are to choose by voting.
After Jongwoon's small peptalk and speech, choosing of the other officers and Taeyeon's goodbye (just as a president and not as a member), the meeting was adjourned. That was the time when Changmin, who was there all through out the meeting, went to both Taeyeon and Jongwoon. He told them of his decision to quit the club to focus more on his being a basketball varsity. Jongwoon persuaded him first to just juggle both like what he is doing (because he also is a member of the Photographer's Club). However, Changmin seemed decided on the matter already.
"It seems like we can't change your mind anymore Mr. Shim. I think we just have to accept this Jongwoon"
"Whatever will make you happy Changmin I'll be supporting you of course, oh my where did that come from! I feel like I am in a drama hahaha" Both Taeyeon and Changmin laughed at that. "No seriously though... It's just regretful to lose your voice Changminnie. Yunho-hyung and BoA-ssi also graduated... So, hmm... We must be able to get great newbloods in the auditions noona"
"It's fine Jongwoon, we will be able to find them. Maybe even better than Mr. Shim right here huh? Haha just kidding" After some small talks, Taeyeon waved goodbye already. Jongwoon was ready to leave but Changmin stopped him and handed him a small bag. It was a paper bag with a box of a cellphone unit inside. He gave him a confused look.
"Hyung, my cousin told me of what happened yesterday about your phone and all that... uhm... He said he is very sorry... This is from him hyung. I guess he promised to give you a new one in exchange of the other?"
"Be honest Changminnie, did he really say that he is 'very sorry', huh?"
"Errr"
"He didn't. He doesn't seem like the type. Is that really your cousin?"
Changmin laughed a bit at that. "Cho Kyuhyun is really my cousin hyung! Haha! It seemed like you got off the wrong foot.. Tsk tsk... He just has a sharp tongue and likes to annoy people but he is actually cool"
Jongwoon doesn't seem sold.
"He really is a good guy if you get to know him better"
"Well we wouldn't really know about that won't we... Because I have no plans of getting to know him better haha" Jongwoon looked at the phone and wanted to give it back. On the other hand, he needs a phone so badly and he didn't have time to go to the nearby mall. He can shop online but it would take days. "I actually told him that I don't need him to get me 1 --"
"Oh but he has to provide 1 hyung! Please take it. It was his fault that your phone flew to the pond!"
"Again, he didn't tell you that right? He insisted that it wasn't his fault"
"Yeah he said that but he was clearly wrong" Changmin muttered. Jongwoon heard it and laughed. "But you know what, I'll use this. I need it now and I have no time to go buy one so..."
Changmin was relieved. Jongwoon saw it and thought that maybe "Cho Kyuhyun" told him Changmin to not let him refuse the phone. Yeah, it seemed like it.
When Changmin turned to go saying that he still has basketball practice, Jongwoon's thought-bulb lightened!
"Hey Changmin!"
"Yes hyung?"
"Do you know the person Choi Minho?"
"Ah yes hyung, why?"
"Well uhmmm... Are you meeting him now? I just need to get something from him, actually uhmm I need a number of his uhmm cousin, you might know him too, Siwon? Do you know him? Uhmmm... He was my classmate but uhmmm no not now..." Lies! Why is it difficult for Jongwoon to lie?
"Uhh yeah, well come with me hyung. You can get that, something, number? From him" Changmin said with a smile.
Getting Siwon's number didn't need much lies afterall. Minho knew that Siwon and Jongwoon were acquaintances. Jongwoon stupidly asked, "He told you about me?" but it was actually just from the musicale that Siwon and Jongwoon did together the year before. After getting the number he thanked both Changmin and Minho.
Jongwoon realized that it was the first time that Jongwoon did not text or call Siwon for a whole night. It has always been Siwon who is too busy to text him or call him. Once it went as long as 4 full days without anything from Siwon. He got depressed all those days. He knew that worries his brother when he is down and silent but he cannot help himself. When he is sad, his emotions really go down to the bottom. Siwon would just explain was not able to text or call or show up for those days, apologize, shower him with gifts, and Jongwoon will understand and forgive him.
But it's different now. It was him who was not able to contact Siwon when he actually promised to call him. Siwon is not used to this that is why Jongwoon is worried. He hopes that Siwon isn't mad at him.

We can see cracks in both KyuMin and WonYe relationships, yes?
I think there isn't a perfect relationship. It's about how you deal with the issues that come your way that will make or break the relationship. But then that would depend with 1) your own personality and outlook on things and 2) the strength of your feelings towards your partner.
