JIYEON'S POV

I'm here at the restaurant where Eunjung works.

I'm sure she will be here.

"Uhm excuse me Miss may I take your order" the waiter ask me and another waiter standing beside him.

Does each customer here need to be served by two waiters?

That's weird.

"Uhm no...I'm not going to order anything...I'm looking for Ham Eunjung. Is she here?" I ask

"Oh yes. Eunjung noona is here. Wait. We will call her. She's in the kitchen" The other one said and they both run towards the kitchen like they were on a race.

Waiters here are weird.

After few minutes the two come back without Eunjung

"Noona said she's busy and can't talk to you" one of the waiters said

"I'll wait for her. It's ok" I said.

I'm really desperate to talk to her.

"She said you should go home" the other one added.

What??!

She said I should just go home?

After I run from school just to get here?

She's cruel!

I sighed and calm myself.

I'm at fault so I should have more patience.

I get a piece of paper in my bag and wrote something in it.

I folded it and give it to the two waiters

"Ok. I'll leave now but please give that one to Eunjung" I said.

"Yes, pretty noona we will" the younger waiter said and holds my hand.

I got startled.

What's with him?

The other waiter slaps his hand.

"Hyung!" he complains and let go of my hand.

I started to walk away.

Creepy.

"That's Eunjung's girl and she strictly said that she's off limits. Do you wanna die?"

I heard them said while I was walking away.

I smiled.

She's mad at me but still cares.

I go straight to Eunjung's house and wait for her.

"What time will you be home Baekgu-yah?" I ask while looking at the sky.

I was walking back and forth here in front of her house.

I have nothing to do in here though.

Then my phone rings.

Crap its Mom!!

I didn't come home yet because I immediately run to Eunjung's workplace after dismissal.

"Hello Mom" I nervously answer with my eyes close.

"WHAT TIME IS IT NOW?! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Mom angrily yelled over the phone.

"Mom could you please stop yelling? I'm alright and I'm here right now in my classmate’s house. We are preparing our report for tomorrow and I think I can't go home. Sorry I forgot to inform you" I immediately explained hoping that she would buy my excuse.

"Are you with Hyomin?" she asks a little bit calm this time but still quite threatening

"No Mom it wasn't Minnie. Minnie is not here either. Don't worry and for the Nth time. Minnie and I were just bestfriends Mom and not something like you think." I explained again.

Seriously, I had been with Hyomin for almost all of my life and we treated each other like sisters and I'm not Minnie's kinda girl.

"Just making sure that you are not being like you so called bestfriend Park Jiyeon or I will lock you forever in your room. Is that clear?!" she warned me.

"Y-yes Mom" I said.

Damn it.

I'm not even sure if I could keep that promise.

"Mom..."

"Yes?"

"Why do you them so much? It's not like they're killing people" I said

"It's because it's crazy! People like them will always end up betraying you and use you making you believe that they care and love you but the truth is they're only playing with your feelings and used you for money" She said with full of hatred in her voice.

"Mo-"

"Finish your work now and I'll see you tomorrow" she said and hangs up before I could even ask her questions.

I sighed.

Mom is getting so mysterious.

Is there something she's hiding from me?

"Eunjung is not here"

I turn to look at the owner of the voice.

There are two people standing in front of me.

One is holding a mirror in her hand and looking at herself.

I'm not sure if she could clearly see herself in there coz it’s already dark and there's just one street light illuminating the place.

I think she's older than me.

The other girl is a short one.

A kid?

Maybe it's her younger sister or something.

"Hey kid. Where is Eunjung?" the short one ask me.

She calls me kid?

I weirdly look at her.

The other just laugh.

"I'm Park Soyeon and this is my fiancée Jeon Boram. She might be a shorty and looks like a kiddo but believe me she's older than you" The mirror girl introduced themselves.

"My apologies unnie. I didn't know" I apologize.

I never thought she's older.

How could she look like a kid?

"You sho-"

"Nah. It's ok. Right love?" Soyeon unnie said and pull Boram unnie back to her who seems to be mad at me because I thought she was a kid.

She just sighed and agreed with Soyeon unnie.

"Uhm. You were looking for Eunjung? She's not yet here" I said.

"Obviously ki- ouch!" I look at Boram unnie who suddenly yelp in pain.

What happen to her?

"You are Park Jiyeon right?" Soyeon unnie said.

I just nod.

I forgot to introduce myself to them.

How did they know?

"If you're going to ask how did we know your name, Eunjung always talk about you so we know you. We are her friends and tell her we passed by ok?" Soyeon unnie said and smile at me.

She seems very kind.

After that they leave and I'm alone again.

Time check 10:45pm.

"When will you be home Baekgu? It's a bit could in here *sneeze*" I said to myself.

Damn my colds are back.

I thought it's already gone after I took medicine but here am I again with my sneezing.

Few minutes more pass ad Eunjung is still not home.

Is she punishing me?

Does she intentionally making me wait here?

Nah. I'll wait here no matter what.

I'm tired of standing so I decided to sit on the floor and lean on the door.

My eyelids then started to get heavy and my eyes started to close slowly.

EUNJUNG'S POV

I'm almost there in the house and I saw can see no one in there so I stop running.

I sighed.

Why would she wait for me?

I'm not important to her though

I was looking down while walking.

I stop in front of my house and.....

A feet?

I lift my head a little and got surprise.

She's right there sitting on the ground hugging her knees.

S-sh-she did wait for me...

I get closer to her and squat.

"I didn't know you're a pabo. Why would you wait for me here? You're still in your uniform so I guess you still didn't come home" I said while staring at her beautiful face.

"How can I be mad at you if you're like this?" I said and sigh.

"I like to stare at you for a long time but its cold in here." I said to her again even though she can't hear me.

I hold her shoulder and shake her a little.

"Dino wake up" I said as I wake her up.

"Hey, ireona...and sleep again..*scratch head*...I mean you should wake up and sleep again inside not here....arggghh what am I saying?....just wake up now." I said to her but still no sign that she's waking up

Or....

Maybe she's pretending to be still asleep.

"Hey dino. If you didn't wake up I will kiss you" I said and as if on cue she opens her eyes and stand up.

"I'm awake. See?" She said a little bit panicking.

"Tsk. Move" I said and push her lightly aside.

I wonder if she heard what I say a while ago but I don't care now. I'll still pretend to be sulking.

I open the door and get inside.

I notice that she's not moving in her place.

"If you are planning to stay there forever I'll close the door now" I said and was about to close the door but she immediately get inside.

What's up with her?

I close the door.

"Why are you here?" I ask her.

"I want to talk about what happen earlier in the rooftop" she said.
