QRI'S POV

I am here in the corner watching Eunjung and Hyomin talk.

"Uhm why are you here? Where is Jiyeon?" Eunjung ask...

Hyomin's expression suddenly became sad.

It’s confirmed then.

She likes Eunjung but Eunjung's too focus on Jiyeon to see that.

This would be a problem.

"Jiyeon is my bestfriend but it doesn't mean that we should always be together." Hyomin said in a bitter tone.

"O...K..." Eunjung just replied.

I sighed.

I'm very sure that she's didn't even notice that she's hurting Hyomin.

"She's with Taeyeon" Hyomin added and Eunjung's expression suddenly change to the most obvious

I mentally face palm.

Now Hyomin knows that she likes Jiyeon

This is going to be a disaster.

"What's wrong?" Hyomin ask

"Huh?...Nothing" Eunjung tried to deny it but it won't work coz she's already busted

"Ham Eunjung do you like Jiyeon?" Hyomin ask her.

Hmm. Now this is the exciting part.

What will you do now Eunjungie?

You better be careful of your decisions.

"Actually Hyomin I...I do" Eunjung confessed.

As expected but wait....

Don't tell me she's planning t-

"Hyomin-ah can you help me with Jiyeon?"

I WILL KILL YOU HAM EUNJUNG FOR HURTING MY MINNIE.

I decided to approach them.

I understand what she's going through but this is too much to ask.

"Hey" I said when I get close to them and they both look at me.

"Ri. I was asking Hyomin if she could help me court Jiyeon. She's Jiyeon's bestfriend and I'm sure she will be a great help." Eunjung said to me cheerfully and I glared at her then look at Hyomin who is just looking down.

"I'm sorry about my bestfriend Hyomin. You don't really have to do what she ask its ok" I said and smile to her.

"Mwo? But Ri I  n-"

I glared at her again and she stops talking

"It's really ok Hyominnie. She was just kidding" I said to lighten up the mood

"Ok...uhm I guess I have to leave now" Hyomin said and walk away.

"Yah Ri! Why did you do that?! That was my chance" Eunjung said irritably.

I frown at her.

"Your chance but that's too much!" I irritably said to her I can't help it.

"How is it too much?!" she ask.

"Can't you see that she like you? How can you be so insensitive?" I blurted out to her and she got shocked.

"Mwo?!...Hyomin?...Hyomin likes me?" She said in shock.

"No! It can't be. She can't like me Ri!" she said while freaking out.

"Yes! It really can't be. She have to stop liking you and I'll make sure she will" I said.

She looks surprised again then smirked at me.

Crap.

I think I made it sound too desperate.

I sighed.

"Wow. That was impressive Ri. Go and catch her" She said and pushes me to leave and follow Hyomin.

I don't know what's with me but my feet just start to walk and I found myself heading to where Hyomin goes.

I found her standing while leaning her back on the wall.

I don't understand but I feel like I've seen her before.

I feel like we already met before but I don't remember when.

I decided to do the same thing as her.

I lean on the opposite wall facing her.

She slowly lifts her face when she notices me.

Something flashes into my mind.

FLASHBACK

I was 8 years old.

My Mom was throwing a party because they just came back from New York and she said they need to celebrate to meet friends.

It's more important to them than their own daughter.

Anyway that's a big deal for me when I was a kid but as I grew up it doesn't matter anymore.

The party was so boring.

I was just an 8 years old kid and those adults thing was quite boring for me.

I just sit on the corner and watch people around me.

I sighed.

I look around and found a girl sitting on the corner too and she's just looking down.

I think we are just the same age so I decided to approach her.

I was pretty friendly and talkative when I was a kid but not now of course. Things change when my parents did this to me.

Anyway I approach the kid who looks sad.

"Annyeong!!" I cheerfully greeted her when I get closer.

She slowly lifts her face and looks at me.

I smile at her.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"Minnie" She replied.

"You're Minnie? Sounds like Minnie Mouse. I'm Kyul" I introduce myself too and sit beside her.

"Why are you sad?" I ask her.

"Because I have nothing to do in here" She said.

"Me too. But I'm here now and you're here to so maybe we could find something to do" I said and smile at her.

She smiled back.

"That's better. You look prettier when you smile" I said and she just stares at me.

We are looking at each other's eyes for a while before I decided to ask her and play.

When the party was about to end people already starts to leave and I think her parents are leaving too.

"I have to leave now Kyul" She said and I feel a little sad.

I pout.

"Don't be sad. We will meet again and when we grow up I will marry you" she said.
