Ever since the spider incident things had brightened up for Jimin. Sure Yoongi still picked on him, he still and his incessant habit of calling Jimin Newb never ended. But, Yoongi did start smiling in his presence. His jokes holding a playful streak to them instead of the brooding anger. And this new development didn’t go unnoticed by the band members.

Seokjin would look at Yoongi approvingly whenever he ruffled Jimin’s styled hair just to rile him up. Sometimes the eldest hyung resembled a principal watching a delinquent turn into a model student. Namjoon look at him like a proud mother would. Taehyung and Jungkook would give him starry eyes. And Hoseok, would always join in the tease sessions.

And Jimin couldn’t have been happier. He felt, for the first time since his admittance into the group five months ago, accepted. And the smiles he used to keep reserved for Taehyung and Hoseok came out in front of the entire band more often.

And this lead to jealousy. Why you ask? Well…

Seokjin had claimed Jimin’s laugh as his favourite in the world. And it didn’t help the fact that Jimin was the only one who found Seokjin’s lame puns hilarious. Which meant Seokjin had started spending more and more time with Jimin than before. Same was with Namjoon, who’s dad jokes worked wonders on Jimin turning him into a ten year old giggling boy in no time. Not to mention Namjoon’s fondness for the boy’s voice which lead to Jimin having longer parts in their songs which meant longer vocal training classes with the leader.

Hoseok had started claiming Jimin as his number one toy. He would grab the boy at random times of the day, pulling him into his lap and just tickling him. Or manhandling him. Or simply teasing him until no tomorrow. And Jungkook would stay up with him late into the nights doing lord knows what.

Taehyung would snuggle his nose into Jimin’s neck. Biting his collarbones. Being an all round koala bear. And honestly Jimin’s habit of free skinship only worked for Taehyung’s advantage.

And all this led to Yoongi having no time to spend with the boy. And Yoongi was mad. Now when I am nice to him, he’s off goofing around with Namjoon! Brat!

And a mad Yoongi is a bad Yoongi. And him getting mad would usually lead to the destruction of the world. But nothing happened.

Yoongi never let his anger leak. He stayed nice. And kind and playful. He never let the jealousy show. Why you ask? Well…
