Choi Sooyoung is a guardian angel, until he fails his task and is punished severely for his mistakes. He is damned as an angel, you can say. And is cursed to bear the weight of punishment. He is stripped of his rights and is left to rot on Earth until he can prove himself worthy of Redemption again. In his time of punishment, however, he is to live life like a demon. Of course, that is until someone comes along a teaches him the true meaning of redemption.
