Jimin doesn't quite understand why he works this much, why he tries this much unecessarily. Forget about everything– It's been a year, there's no way Park Jimin was to remember anything now.

No matter how much he racks his brain and literally kills it just to remember something about his past, all he sees is blood, blood and nothing ahead of it. He had lost count of the number of times he had passed out, exhausted from trying to remember everything, even if was just a teenie bit.

As he looks at Min Yoongi, a wave of guilt washes over him. He had noticed the red eyes of the latter, clearly visible through his pale complexion. He gets the point: He has been crying. Again.

Unconsciously, a hand goes to his hair, brushing through it softly as Jimin dwells in his own thoughts again.

Do I deserve him?

No.

Do I like him?

Yes.

The answer stood right before him, laughing at him like a maniac. And he hates it.

All he wants is peace, not pressure. Even if not for himself, he wants to remember anything from the past at least for Yoongi.

"Jimin," He snaps out from his thoughts at Yoongi's raspy voice. A voice which brings a smile to his face. Hiding his smile, he withdraws his hand, turning stiff.

"Why? I liked it, though"

"Yoongi-ssi," He can already see Yoongi frowning at the 'weird' name-- as he puts it-- but he continues anyway. "Why.... Why do you try so much?"

"What?"

"We both know there isn't a chance of me remembering everything"

"What-What are you talking? The doctor did say it might take a year or so, but he said you'll surely remember every--!"

"Stop it" He says, unable to take the pressure anymore. "Stop making yourself believe that I will remember someday. I may or may not, but that someday isn't soon. Tell me, why do you try so much when you know I might possibly never even remember the past anymore?"

"... Because I love you"

Jimin hates those words. "You deserve so much more, Yoongi-ssi"

"Stop with the honorifics," Yoongi gets up, glaring right into his eyes. "I've told you for a year already."

"Okay, hyung. But you don't really have to stick with me"

"... The honorifics were much better" 

"I'm... Let's break up"

Yoongi looks at him in shock. "What?"

"I said let's break up. You don't deserve someone like me, Yoongi-hyung. You have a life; don't ruin it with--!"

"Is it because you don't like me? Yet?"

"No, not that; I do like you, but you're wasting your time trying hard for something which cannot even be done"

"Jimin, be honest." Yoongi looks at the floor, avoiding his eyesight because he knows, he knows how hard it is for Jimin. And yet, he cannot do anything. "You don't like me as I like do, is that it?"

"No!" Yoongi is surprised to see Jimin crying out of the blue. "You don't understand! Of course I like you! But-But you deserve so much more than me, an idiot who cannot even remember his own past--!"

"Hey, Jimin" Yoongi makes the crying boy turn to him. "Sometimes, it's fine. You don't have to feel so pressurized. It's really okay if you don't want to try"

"But I want to! I want to know how much I had loved you" And so, Jimin cries out loud for the first time, ignoring the growing pain inside his head as Yoongi hugs him slowly yet securely, giving him a feeling of security.

They don't know how much more time they stay like that, but they know one thing:

No matter what the circumstances are, we'll keep loving each other.
