General | 5. On a train together and the trains is stopped in the middle of nowhere for some reason AU
AU Challenge | YoonMinJimin looks at the fast-forwarded scenery outside, his eyes dizzy and almost about to fall off. He smacks himself mentally for the nth time, because he knows he will get dizzy and yet he always sees the fast-moving roads and trees and buildings. I'm such an idiot, He says to himself with a chuckle as he looks around to try find somewhere to at least lean on. He wasn't that tall and holding the bars just looked so childish, and not as manly as he wants to be.
At one particular station, the compartment clears up a bit, giving him a place to lean against. He looks at outside the glass window, the world tinted in the color of the glass.
That is when he notices this guy. Somewhat golden-haired and almost the same height as him, wearing a grey beanie and a leather coat. Curious, he approaches the guy. "Hi," He says, waving before the guy's face.
"Hi," The guy says a bit grumpily before taking off the headphones he was wearing. "Do I know you?"
"No," Jimin shrugs, "But I'd like to know about you"
He could hear the latter say something in between the lines of gross and too flirty, but still continues on anyway.
"I'm Yoongi" He says and sticks his hand out, waiting for Jimin to shake a hello to it. And he does just that.
"I'm Jimin," He smiles widely, which Yoongi finds cute. "I study at Global Cyber University"
"Isn't that an online university?"
"Well, technically, because I'm studying Applied Music and I have to work too, I take internet classes"
"Oh," Yoongi shrugs. "I work as a producer"
"Music producer?"
"Yeah. Working as a rookie, though"
The train suddenly jerks and stops, a commotion arising inside the compartment they were in. "What's happening?" Jimin asks as he looks out, slightly scared by the height they were at right now.
"I don't know; maybe some technical problem"
"Do you think it'll take time?"
"Why?"
"Because I feel like I want to ing jump out of this train and live"
Yoongi stifles a laugh. "Are you that afraid of heights?"
"Huh?"
"I asked if you were afraid of heights this much"
"N-Not really" He tries to cover up, but fails high time. "I think I got it from Hobi-hyung"
"'Hobi-hyung'?'
"Ah,he's my roommate. He's a senior who was kind enough to share a room with me"
"I think it's better for you to come this side?" Yoongi pulls Jimin away from the door and goes to that spot himself.
"W-Why?"
"Because if the door opens accidentally, you won't be the one to fall over"
"What?!" He screeches, attracting attention. "Sorry," He apologizes instantly.
"Sorry," Yoongi apologizes but not without laughing out a bit. "You're just too funny and cute"
"Funny? Cute?! You think I'm funny and cute?!" Jimin whines.
"You are. Just accept it"
"Ugh, so rude" Jimin frowns, which Yoongi finds cute again but doesn't say it.
The train finally starts to move and soon, it is time for Yoongi to get off on his station. "It was nice meeting you, Jimin"
"You too, Yoongi-hyung" Yoongi shoots a look at the other. "What? You look older than me, and I'm sure you are"
"Maybe I am, but how would you know?"
"Maybe I just know" Jimin smiles back. "Goodbye"
"I board this train daily, so let's meet up again while we can" Yoongi flashes his awkward gummy smile before he steps out of the compartment, looking back at Jimin till the door closes and the train zips away.
"... That was a nice encounter" Yoongi smiles to himself as he sees a guy pass right through him. And he doesn't even bother it anymore.
Who would know him? He's a ghost, after all. Although he was surprised at Jimin even noticing him.
BA DUM TSSS! so yeah this turned creepy.... /looks either side and shrugs/
i seriously didn't have this idea AT ALL, believe me. this was just going to be a simple meeting in the train. but then when Yoongi got off the train, i just had to use this because simpleness is my not my style /sweg mode ON/
