"Yoonji, shut the damn phone off!" Yoongi says as he throws a pillow at Yoonji.

"What? It's just texts, dammit!"

"I'm trying to sleep here"

"Too bad; go to your room"

"And why would I do that?" He asks, finally opening his eyes and looking at his brat of a sister.

"Because my friend is coming over with her brother"

"Which friend?" He almost goes back to sleep.

"Jihye" Almost.

At once, his eyes flash awake, even his whole system is awake and pumping with life now. "W-Who?"

"Park Jihye; if you don't remember her she's my BFF and we both attend the same college and she too wants to be a singer like me and--"

"And who's coming with her?"

"Her brother"

Yoongi remembers the guy: always full of energy and smiles. So much captivating. He had only seen the brother thrice, no, four times? Yeah, that was probably it. Yet, the mention of the person itself sent him a nervous 'whoosh' up his head.

"You're surprisingly awake, Yoongi-sshi" He turns to the other female voice inside the house, and looks up to see Jihye. "And Min Yoonji, no one leaves the doors open like that!"

While the two girls rejoice and go inside a room, he is left all alone, wondering where the guy was.

"Jihye! Yah, You're getting into so much troubl-- Oh," Jimin stops at noticing Yoongi's presence. "Min... Min Yoongi? Am I right?"

He doesn't even remember my name, Yoongi thinks with a weird chuckle. "Yeah. And you're...?" He decides to play along the boy's obliviousness.

"Park Jimin; Jihye's elder brother"

"Sit down" Yoongi internally grimaces at his own fake formality. He finds it weird for himself to be this formal enough to someone who he has seen to conder as a friend.

Yoongi shuffles in hs seat as Jimin looks through his phone, occasioanlly typing something on it and scrolling through something.

"I thought this was just going to be ten minutes" Jimin mutters lowly, but audible anough for Yoongi to hear it.

"You know; Girls thing. Takes time" And now he doesn't understand why he speak in two-word sentences.

Jimin looks out of the window, gulping the lump down his throat. There was only so much he could scroll through his phone. I should call her, Jimin thinks as he flips his phone out again.

-i need 2 go- He sends a message to his sister, hoping she'd come out.

-what a gr8 way to interrupt 2 frnds catching up- Comes in a reply from his sister, almost a minute and thirty seconds later.

-hey! im late 4 my dance practice!- 

-cant u skip it 2day? please, oppa?-

-i cannot believe u. im leaving- 

He gets up, attracting Yoongi's attention. "Sorry, but I have to go somewhere."

"Your sister?"

"Uh, I'm sure she can find her way back. Thank you, Yoongi-sshi" Jimin thanks out of nowhere and goes to the door, reaching its handles.

"Uh, wait-!" He stops at Yoongi calling out, and turns back.

Now, Yoongi doesn't know why the  he just did that, but he's sure he's gonna end up appreaing dumb. "I-I can take you, if you want to"

"Eh?" Jimin gives an awkward look at the offer, wondering why he even proposed that in the first place.

"I-I mean-- I mean we can get to know each other, you know, just like our sisters?"

There's something about of way Yoongi asks the question which interests the younger boy, and he finds himself nodding a yes before locking the door behind them and walking down the street in absolute silence, each thinking about ways to initiate a conversation.

"So," Yoongi heaves, "What are you doing?'

"Me?"

"I don't see anyone else here"

Jimin chuckles lightly at Yoongi's slight sarcasm. "I'm just a final-year dance-majoring college student"

"That's a long name for a student"

Jimin chuckles again, this time a bit longer. "And you?"

"I work under a producer"

"Wow, producing? That's so cool!"

And the awkward silence takes its place again in between them, both staring at the inanimate things around them, everything else but at each other.

"I can go by myself, Yoongi-sshi. The studio's just a few blocks away" Jimin says, feeling bad for making him come all the way.

"It's okay; I feel too stuffy being inside"

"But really, I can go on my own from here"

"You sure?" Yoongi asks, and Jimin nods. "Okay, then. I guess you'll be coming to pick your sister up?'

"Yeah; but your sister is like her only best friend" Jimin laughs at the fact. "But why aren't we?'

"We can always be"
