A Night She Can't Forget
It's Meant To Be“How long has she been like this?” Bom asks Hwa Yun who called her to the mansion to look over the young mistress.
“She’s been like this for one day already,” Hwa Yung replies, concerned about Sandara’s well being. “She has not slept or ate. After she came back the morning after the party, she’s been sitting on the couch in her bedroom, looking out the window. She hasn’t talked to anyone since that day.”
“Thank you for calling me over,” Bom says, “I’ll take a look at her.”
Bom walks up the marble stairs and slowly turns the knob of her friend’s bedroom door. Sandara turns her face towards the opening door with tears streaming down her face. She is desperate to talk to someone. She needs a person to help lift the burden off her chest. She is confused, scarred and ashamed of the events that happened that night. “Dara what’s wrong?” Bom runs to her friend and embraces her in her arms. “Honey don’t cry. Tell me what’s wrong. I’ll help you,” Bom comforts Sandara, hoping to take her friend’s pain away.
“Don’t touch me,” Sandara pushes her best friend away. “I’m dirty. I don’t deserve to be friends with you. Don’t touch me,” Sandara sits in a fetal position and bawls her eyes out.
“No. You are not dirty,” Bom assures, “You have the purest heart among anyone I have ever known. Regardless of what happened to you, I am going to be by your side. You are my best friend and we are going to get over this together. I am never going to leave you.” Bom h
