Year 2015, month of January: Kim Junmyeon (24); Zhang Yixing (20)

“Happy New Year, Yixing.”

She smiled into the phone, lying on her bed in the hotel room.

“Happy New Year to you too, oppa,” she responded.

“Am I the first to wish you?”

“That’s because I’ve been on the phone with you for the past hour and I’m unable to do anything else with it.”

She could hear his laughter over the phone and she laughed along with it.

“Oppa, I miss you, do you miss me too?”

“If I say I miss you, would you come back faster?”

“Ughhhh hyung, cheesyyyyy.”

“Go away.”

She giggled.  “Oppa, is that Sehun oppa?”

“Yixing!”

“I said only I can call her that!”

“YIXING-AH!”

This voice was definitely Baekhyun.

“YAH BYUN BAEKHYUN!”

She laughed to herself.

“Hey, let me go to a quieter room so I can talk to you without any disturbances from them.  Ahh, better.  How’s your overseas trip so far?”

“It’s good.  I ate a lot and shopped a lot.”

“Girls.”

“Leader,” she teased back, stifling a laugh as she saw Xiumin’s and Jongdae’s sleeping positions with their mouths wide open.

“I feel like a third wheel,” Yixing stated, as she flopped onto her back.  “It seems like everyone has someone except for me.”
