I slunged my black leather studded bagpack over my shoulders and fixed the strap when I heard Soonyoung's footsteps nearing me. When I looked up, there he was, giving me his usual smile like the one he gave me yesterday when he passed in front of my mom's house, "Do you want me to walk you home?" 

My body stiffened and I shook my head with a smile, softly declining him, "You don't need to do that...Soonyoung," Besides, I can walk alone by myself. It's only almost 5 in the evening. And it's not like there will be some drunken alchoholic will me or something. This is a countryside, though.

Giving him one last smile, I walked past him but his next action suprised me as he grabbed my wrist, giving me a look that I am not really sure. Is he angry? Upset? Worried? Or some other feelings that I'm not sure of?

"It's almost dusk, I know where your house is and I just want to make sure you reach home safely." He said, his voice sounded serious.

Wait, is he worried? Of me? But I just met him.

Once again, my curiousity builds up as more questions came flooding my mind. Is this place safe until Soonyoung is willing to walk me home. Well yeah, he knows my house but I don't think walking me home is necessary though. We barely know each other and we only talked to each other this morning, but  not really in a proper way.

I stared at him with one of my eyebrows raised, "But why? My house is not very far from here and you don't need to-"My words stopped immidiately and was only left hanging when Soonyoung dragged me out of the classroom and without stopping, he kept on walking until we reached the school gate, with his hand still holding tightly onto my wrist. 

He turned around and faced a wide eyed me but then stiffled a soft laugh, showing me his cute eyesmiles which made me frown. Like, really? He volunteered himself to walk me home but when I was about to refuse, he dragged me all the way to the school's gate, holding my wrist.

My wrist! I looked down and yeah I'm not mistaken about it. Soonyoung was still holding my wrist. He caught my eyes looking down and also looked down to his hand, which was tightly holding onto my left wrist. "Oh, sorry," he uttered and quickly let free of my wrist.

"Listen-" I was about to say something when he cutted my words and started to walk away towards the direction of my house, "Let's go!" he said, with a clear tone of happiness can be detected. Will he ever let me finish my sentence? 

"Yah Soonyoung!" I shouted and ran towards his side, catching him up. He turned his head to his right side, taking a quick glance at me as I tried to catch my breath before looking back ahead, "Kwon Soonyoung," he said, not sure if he was introducing himself or correcting me or what. "Okay?" I asked, not really sounds like a question.

But then, he stopped and turned his body facing me. I obliviousy stopped as well, facing him also. 

The sky almost darkened and the street lights along the roads were starting to light up, brighting the small road. Taking a deep breath, he gave me a warm smile, "So..." he hesitated and I smiled back, clearly aware of his hesitation, "Daeun, Kang Daeun."

His smile turned brighter when I mentioned me name. "So, Kang Daeun," I raised one of my eyebrows and hummed in response, "Hmm?" Soonyoung looked around us before he spoke up, sounding serious, "The house, your house, did you experienced anything weird there?" 

I tilted my head after hearing his weird question, "What do you mean?" I asked back. He cleared his throat and avoided my eyes before walking back forward. I sighed and walked besides him. A short silence took ove
