i could be her if you let metiff," I muttered.
"jessi," she gasped. She was holding a bottle of water.
"So are you going to watch that shooting star, ummm, shoot?" I asked, stupidly.
She nodded and smiled. "Yeah, pretty much waiting for it."
"Okay, bit tired, so. . . I'm gonna hit the hay," I said.
"Okay, night," she said as she walked passed by me.
I looked at her as she opened the door to go outside.
"tiff," I called back.
Luckily, she looked back.
"I. . I'm sorry about last week," I finally managed to say. "I was drunk. I was stupid. I wasn't thinking straight."
She closed the door and went slowly towards me. "jessi, it's okay."
"I know it wasn't," I answered. "And I want to take responsibility for my actions."
tiffany stopped and just stared at me. "Why are you doing this, jessica?"
I shook my head. "Do what?"
"These lies, you taking advantage of me when I'm vulnerable--"
I stopped her. "Wait, taking advantage of you?"
"Yeah, and you and your girls, you're always--"
She seemed agitated now. And I, confused.
"What?"
"Promiscuous," she finished.
I was definitely taken aback. "You think I'm promiscuous??"
tiffany shook her head. "This is a pointless conversation, jessi. Let's just. ."
"You think I was taking advantage of you? You think I was lying when I said I love you?" I asked, leaning closer.
"Well, I know you slept with someone before you said those empty words to me," she sternly replied.
"What?!"
"What was it like, jessica? Did sleeping with her made you realize you wanted someone else?" she went on.
Then someone flashed inside my head on who she was
