Chapter 11: Mistletoe Part 1

Monday.. (Christmas Eve Eve)

It was the day a lot of people looked forward to.. The day before the beloved winter break..

Yuki happily walked to school. It was a day without any yelling teachers, work, or any english.

Also, she would get a present from her secret santa.

Your POV

I wonder who got me for secret santa.. I also wonder what he/she got me.. It wouldn't be nice

to have a slave.. I mean, they would do things for me.. But I don't really know much people

and it will be a little awkward for me.. As I walked, I heard as the boxes in my school bag

collided with each other.

I got presents for others, not only Kim MyungSoo. I kept the mistletoe in a pretty box. I

wonder if he would like it.. I don't want to be a slave.. ; - ;

When I got to school, Mr. Yang kept us all out in the hallway. To be able to enter his classroom,

you have to had brought your present for your secret santa, and food. So I waited for L to

come. L presented the cupcakes we had baked and we were let in.

Inside was decorated with a christmas tree, white and blue lights, and 'snowflakes' falling from

the ceiling every 5 seconds. The tables were rearranged to form groups of 4.

L set down the cupcakes at the front table and took a seat next to me, waiting for everyone to

arrive.

Meanwhile.. (SungYeol's POV)

“ SungYeol, where is your food you needed to bring?” Mr. Yang asked impatiently.

I sort of forgot.. Where do I get food now?! Maybe I can ask L to tell Mr. Yang that I was a part

of baking his cupcakes..? No.. He'll just yell at me..

What do I do? What do I do? Then I felt around my pockets. Right! There was an extra egg I

didn't deliver! I took it out and showed Mr. Yang.

“ Do you plan to share that?” Mr. Yang asked.

“ Actually, yeah, I do,” I replied smiling.

“ Fine, you can go in. But I'm watching you, Lee SungYeol,” Mr. Yang said.

“ Okay,” I said as I skipped in the room. I found L and sat next to him. Hmm. I wonder if Yuki

found out he's Kim MyungSoo yet..

3^rd Person POV

“ Now that everyone's here, we can now start our party. Remember the food is up front, and I

will announce when we give out the gifts later,” Mr. Yang said as he went into his teacher

corner with a huge plate of food. “ Might as well treat myself to a large breakfast,” he muttered

to himself. Everyone first went up to get food, because they were all hungry from lack of

breakfast.

A few hours later..

In the midst of people talking to each other, they suddenly heard a bullhorn. Everyone,

startled, looked at the source of the sound. It was Mr. Yang.

“ Kids, it's time to receive your presents! Boy I hope someone got me something nice this

year!” Mr. Yang announced, “ I will call up each of you one by one, and you will have to close

your eyes and put out your hands. Then your secret santa will come up and hand you your

present. Understood?”

People received all sort of presents, from pet turtles to popcorn machines. There were even 6

foot tall teddy bears. Seeing all the amazing presents made you uneasy. There has to be

someone with a person worst than mine.. you thought.

Your POV

“Kim MyungSoo” Mr. Yang called out. That snapped me out of my daze. It's my turn to go up. I

looked up and saw L. Wait.. L IS MYUNGSOO? WHY DIDN'T HE EVER TELL ME? T-then why

would he want a m-mistletoe..?!

I put the small box in his hand and walked back to my seat. SungYeol saw my shocked state

and chuckled. It's not funny! Although I could've figured when he knew what he wanted.. and L

is sort of strange for a parent to name you.. I still can't believe I didn't know. When L sat next

to me, he shook his box and smiled at me.

“ Lee SungYeol” Mr. Yang called next. SungYeol walked up front and held his hands out. L

quickly went through his bag and took out a box. Then he put it in SungYeol's hands. That's not

fair. They know what each other want. SungYeol opened it before he went back to his seat and

it was the Paradise chapstick that he loved.

“ NOO. NOO. YOU COULDN'T HAVE. I LOVE YOU MAN!” SungYeol shouted and bro hugged L.

Apparently, it was the newest flavor they had, that wasn't officially released yet. My gift looks

like poop.

L's POV

I can't believe she actually got me a mistletoe.. haha. (: She looks sad.. Maybe she thinks her

gift is poop like.. But I like it.. well, at least the affect it will have later.. muahahah.

“ Tanaka Yuki” Mr. Yang called. She walked up and held her hands out. I wonder who got her.

Then I saw SungYeol go up. That cheater! Now she's going to love him for the present he got

her! Oh well, close enough. We're even now.

When Yuki got back to her seat, she opened her present. It was a necklace with the infinite

sign on it. I have to admit, he has good taste in jewelry. Yuki's eyes widened and then hugged

SungYeol.

“ Thanks SungYeol, I love it!” she said while her arms were around his neck. SungYeol had a

huge smile on his face. I shook my head. Then Yuki walked to me.

“ Do you like your present?” she asked me. I opened the box, and it really was a mistletoe.

“ I'll be the judge of that later,” I smirked.

“ I will be going around asking if everyone likes their presents later,” Mr. Yang announced.

I have to put up the mistletoe..
